Seoul and most central regions will see showers but will still maintain highs of 35 degrees Celsius

Scorching heat continues to grip the country despite showers in parts of South Korea.
Seoul and its surrounding province of Gyeonggi-do, along with some southern areas, saw showers during the day,... but most parts of the nation are still under heatwave warnings or advisories.
Seoul, Busan and Jeju saw the temperature peak at around 32-degrees Celsius in the afternoon, while the southwestern city of Gwangju was at 38 degrees.
Tomorrow it's expected to be cloudier,... but temperatures will still peak in the mid to high thirties nationwide.
While there are no signs of rain tomorrow as of yet, the east coast could see some showers,... with Typhoon Jongdari expected to pass over Japan on Sunday and reach the southern part of South Korea early next week.
