Highs in S. Korea to range between 33 and 37 degrees Celsius
  • 6 years ago
Korea is under stifling heat today again, with high humidity.
Almost the entire country, in fact, is under either a heatwave warning or advisory.
In Seoul it's going to get up to 33 degrees Celsius, and in the southeastern city of Gyeongju it'll hit 37 degrees.
Heat wave advisories are issued when the mercury is forecast to stay above 33 degrees for at least two days in a row, and warnings go out when it's staying above 35.
The UV index is high, too, so if you're heading outdoors it'll be important to protect yourself from the sun.
