As we head towards the last week of November... the weather here in Korea is definitely calling for some thick clothing now... with the temperatures falling below the freezing point in most parts of the country.
Our Hong Yoo starts us off.
Cold, northwesterly winds have brought morning temperatures to the lowest levels of the season in most regions across South Korea.
Temperatures in Seoul dropped to minus 3-point-1 degrees Celsius, two degrees lower than yesterday.
Even Daegu, located in the southern part of the peninsula... saw a morning low of minus 1-point-8 degrees Celsius,... the first time temperatures fell below the freezing point there,... in this year's fall season.

Temperatures are expected to partially rebound,... but overall, the weather will remain chilly in the afternoon.
The daily high in Seoul today is expected to top out at 6 degrees Celsius.

Despite the cold weather,... the nation will see mostly clear skies and good air quality,... with low levels of fine dust concentration.

However, the Korea Meteorological Administration has issued a dry weather advisory for coastal regions in the East,... including Gangneung, Donghae, and Samcheok.
Dry conditions will persist until the expected rain or snowfall on Saturday,... requiring special attention to prevent wildfires.
Precipitation is being forecast nationwide on Saturday,... with a snow build-up expected in Seoul and other central regions,... while a heavy snow advisory could be issued in some of the northern regions.

The temperatures will be on the rebound starting from tomorrow and throughout the weekend... to average, seasonal levels.
