Seoul and most central regions will see showers but will still maintain highs of 35 degrees Celsius

Scorching heat continues to grip the country despite showers in parts of South Korea.
Seoul's weather agency says the capital and its surrounding province of Gyeonggi-do, along with some southern areas, will see showers during the day,... but the rain will only temporarily bring down the temperature by a degree or two.
Most parts of the nation will still be under heatwave warnings or advisories.
Seoul and central regions will see the temperature peak at 35-degrees Celsius in the afternoon, while Busan and Jeju will be at 32 degrees.
As the summer vacation is in full swing, there is heavy traffic on most of the expressways, but it's expected to get better late in the evening.
But with the strong heat wave, make sure to drink plenty of water and try to avoid the sun.
