Good morning, it's forecast to be a hot and humid day with showers in some of regions in the east and south.
Let's talk about the heat first. It was one steamy National Liberation Day in Seoul yesterday at a high of 38 degrees Celsius, readings will go down a bit today while a heavy rain advisory is in place for parts of the Gyeongsang-do and Jeollado provinces and Jeju Island.
Gyeongju is under a heavy rain warning with up to 120 millimeters... the other regions in the east and south could see 10 to 80 millimeters of showers throughout the day while
Rain affected areas could see temperatures going down a bit. Morning lows in Seoul, Daejeon, Gwangju and Jeju at 27 degrees Celsius.
Daily highs in Seoul and Gwangju will be 34 degrees so it won't be as unbearable as yesterday, while Daegu and Busan could breathe little better. Keep an umbrella handy.
