Ingredients:-
1 kg. Mutton
8 cloves of Garlic, 1 ½” ginger and 10 spicy green chillies ground to a paste
7-8 tbsp. Ghee
1” Cinnamon
5 Green cardamoms
10 Cloves
10 Peppercorns
2 Bay leaves
3 Onions finely chopped
3 tbsp. Split Chickpea, Split Green Gram and Split Red Gram each boiled with turmeric
½ litre Thick coconut milk
1 tsp. Turmeric powder
5 tbsp. Ghee
Salt, to taste


Method:-
1. Heat ghee and add whole spices, onions and sauté until the onions turn pink and soft.
2. Then add ginger-garlic-chilli paste and sauté.
3. Add mutton and sauté on a high flame for 4-5 minutes and then add turmeric powder, water, salt and cook the meat.
4. Once the meat is almost done add the boiled dal and the coconut milk and give it a good boil and serve.

Mouth-watering Mutton Dalcha is ready to eat!
