It will be an NFC North division battle in week four as the Detroit Lions will hit the highway to meet the Chicago Bears in an NFL pro football game set for Sunday.

Notes: Detroit fell to 1-2 with the 34-27 road defeat to the Green Bay Packers as a +6 point betting underdog. The total went over 47 ½ points. The Lions could not come all the way back from a 31-10 halftime deficit. The team didn’t run for a lick rushing for 50 yards on 23 carries. Matthew Stafford carried the offense as he goes 28 of 41 for 385 yards with three touchdowns and a pick. He only engineered one touchdown in three red zone drives while Green Bay goes 4 of 5. Defensively the Lions allowed 324 yards to the Green Bay offense with 205 yards passing and four touchdown throws by Aaron Rodgers.

Chicago sits at 0-3 with the 31-17 road defeat to the Dallas Cowboys as a +6 ½ point underdog. The total went over 44 ½ points. The Bears fell behind 24-3 at the half. Their defense was torched by the Dallas offense that produced 447 yards with 199 of it rushing the football. Chicago allowed 4 of 4 conversions in the red zone by the Cowboys. Bears quarterback Brian Hoyer hit on 30 of 43 passes for 317 yards with two touchdowns. But the touchdowns came way too late in the game when the Bears were facing a heavy deficit.
