The game saw the debut of first round pick quarterback Carson Wentz. He put up some good numbers as the rookie connected on 22 of 37 throws for 278 yards with two touchdowns. Philadelphia finished with 383 offensive yards for the game. They held Cleveland to 288 yards of offense with only 190 yards passing with 12 of 26 completions to Robert Griffin III.

Chicago falls to 0-1 in the young season with the 23-14 road defeat to the Houston Texans as a +5 ½ point underdog. The total went under 43 points. The Bears 14-10 at the half then get outscored 13-0 in the second half. Chicago had trouble moving the football finishing with 258 offensive yards. They ran it 20 times for 73 yards. Jay Cutler hit on 16 of 29 passes for 216 yards with a touchdown and pick. Defensively the Bears allowed 346 yards to the Houston offense with 131 rushing.
