Notes: Detroit fell to 1-1 on the season with the 16-15 home defeat to the Tennessee Titans as a -6 point favorite. The total went under 48 points. The Lions blew a 15-3 lead after three quarters. With just over a minute left the Lions allowed a Marcus Mariota 9 yard touchdown pass to give the Titans the lead and Detroit was unable to answer with a winning score. The team put up 375 yards of offense with 137 on the ground. Matthew Stafford hit on 22 of 40 passes for 260 yards with a touchdown and pick but engineered only one touchdown in three red zone tries. Over on defense the Lions allowed Marcus Mariota to pass for 238 yards and two touchdown passes.

Green Bay is 1-1 following the 17-14 road defeat to the Minnesota Vikings as a –1 ½ point favorite. The total went under 43 points. The Packers offense generated only 263 yards. They ran it 23 times for 83 yards. Aaron Rodgers hit on 20 of 36 passes for 213 yards with a touchdown and pick. On defense Green Bay stuffed the Vikings run game but allowed Sam Bradford to pass for 286 yards and two touchdowns.
