Burmese elections: How far will the country open up?

In 2011, it ended a half-century of harsh military rule. Now Burma is set to hold historic general elections on November 8th. But the vote comes as recent government reforms have either stalled or been rolled back. As polling day approaches, we bring you a special edition of the programme where we look at Burma's bid to transform itself.
Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi is barred from becoming president but she's leading the campaign for her NLD party. We focus on the challenges she's facing.
Meanwhile, the Muslim Rohingya community are not allowed to vote in the election. We look at why they are persecuted.
