MACVAL is the museum of contemporary art for the Val-de-Marne area just beyond the border of Paris, France. You can get here from Paris by bus and tramway. It's in Vitry-sur-Seine.

MACVAL is free the first Sunday of each month, but is never costly to visit. It is large and accessible and has a garden. Even the permanent collection gets changed from time to time, and there are always quite a few more temporary installations to see.

Artist: Varini

Several artist I know of do art which requires one to stand in one place in order to perceive it assembled. Some artists work with extremely temporary structures, such as those slated for demolition, and merely document it, then move on. Others might incorporate the work more permanently. What might appear to be random, nonsensical bits will fall together and "make sense" once you find where to stand and how to look. It's kind of a reverse puzzle.

Life is full of mysteries. Often, it is merely our point of view which enables us to put it all together. This can apply to studying behavior, trends, seasons, to solving crimes, and so on.
