Oregon Ducks Coach Dan Lanning discusses the retention that the team has had this offseason

00:00I'm really excited about the retention that we've had with our team.

00:06You know, you look at Oregon, the players that we've been able to add,

00:09we've done well in recruiting, have been able to use the portal

00:13to be a real success for us, but we've done an unbelievable job

00:16of keeping our players on our team, right,

00:19and not losing them to home somewhere else.

00:21On a personal note, I really enjoyed the last couple weeks

00:24getting to spend time with my family.

00:25You know, I've said it before, there is no balance in this profession.

00:28You are all in, and we've been all in, but these last couple weeks,

00:33I've been all in on being a dad.

00:35It's been unbelievable.

00:36Caden's 15 now, Niles is 14, Titan's 12.

00:40We've had flag football this summer, a couple summer camps,

00:43a couple trips on the lake.

00:45They're getting harder to throw off the tube,

00:47but we've had an unbelievable experience.

00:49It's been fun hanging out with my wife and the boys this summer,

00:52but we are excited to get to work.
