Oregon Ducks Coach Dan Lanning discusses how Kenyon Sadiq has been playing in the offseason
Transcript
00:00Hey coach, Nick Hamilton, Nightcast Media, wanted to ask you just your perspective as
00:11far as the chemistry being built between Dante and Kenyon Sadiq and how would you see Kenyon
00:18being able to shoulder some of that load this season?
00:20I actually told Kenyon on the way down that yesterday was the first time I played it,
00:25but I played with my youngest son, Titan, we played the NCAA college football and Sadiq
00:31went off, right?
00:32He balled out, so I need to make sure I bring that up to our quarterbacks, throw it to Kenyon,
00:38you know, because he's been unbelievable this offseason, like I said, if you just see him
00:43work, it's not a secret.
00:44I feel like he would tell you those are some of the traits that he learned from the guys
00:47that were ahead of him, whether that's Terrence Ferguson or Pat Herbert, but yeah, there is
00:52the chemistry being developed and that's part of what fall camp's about, right?
00:56Our quarterbacks getting on the same page as our tight ends, as our wideouts, as our backs
01:00and just, you know, creating that rhythm.
01:02Our guys have worked really hard this summer, but Kenyon's going to be, it's going to be
01:06hard for people to deal with, you know, he's a special player.
01:08I think he can be the best Titan in the nation and, you know, when you have a great rhythm
01:13with your, with your quarterbacks, being able to get the ball to them, that's going to
01:16be a special weapon for us.
01:19Coach Lanning, thank you so much for your time.
01:20Appreciate it.
