Oregon Ducks Coach Dan Lanning discusses the progression of the quarterbacks
Transcript
00:00Kenneth Berry, touchdowns and tangents.
00:06Coach, you have Dante Moore, our quarterback.
00:09How is – what have you been most proud of as far as his progression
00:13since he's been there, and have you had a chance to kind of link him up
00:16and reach out with Bo Nix and Dylan to kind of –
00:20because your regular transfer has been pretty excellent.
00:23So, you know, has he had a chance to link up and talk to those guys?
00:26Yeah, I mean, all of our quarterbacks have.
00:28Austin, Dante, Luke.
00:30Like, we've been really fortunate the last few years,
00:33and I've said this to a few, that we've had a great mentor in that room.
00:37We've had guys that have had unbelievable experience, right,
00:40that these guys were able to watch and see.
00:43And I think probably what impresses me most with Dante is not wanting to be
00:47in a microwave society, not wanting to just get it fast
00:50because there's an opportunity in front of them,
00:52but to have the slow-cooked meal, right, to have the opportunity to sit back
00:55and mature and learn, learn from experiences that you don't necessarily have to be
00:59on the field to feel.
01:01And that same goes for Austin, that same goes for Luke
01:03and the other guys in our program.
01:04Like, those guys have learned from great quarterbacks
01:07that have done it at a really, really high level.
01:09For him to have that opportunity, show maturity, develop in his leadership,
01:13I think it's going to create great opportunities for our team.
