00:00What was your biggest goal this offseason as far as training goes?
00:06Were you trying to bulk up a little bit, cut weight?
00:08I mean, what was your goal in the offseason?
00:12My goal, Coach Love did it really, really well.
00:15Good job with me.
00:15I'm blessed to have him as my strength staff coach.
00:19But really, it was more just to get faster, cut down my body fat.
00:23I did really good with that.
00:24I had PR'd my fastest speed this spring of being here.
00:28So I've been doing really well.
00:29Really, it was physically just getting my body cut down.
00:32But mentally, watching a lot of film, a lot of NFL quarterbacks, just seeing how they weigh,
00:37they just be decisive on the football field.
00:38So mentally, I've been learning a lot of concepts and physically cut down my body weight
00:42and got rid of it way faster.
00:44Right left, Matt.
00:46Will's previously said that he likes to work with the quarterbacks to kind of formulate
00:50what the offense is going to look like that season.
00:52Obviously, there's core fundamentals that you'll try to do every year.
00:55But what's that process like of being involved in the room, of trying to find what works for
01:01you guys and what works for the offense?
01:03Yeah, one thing I will say about being here with Coach Stein, I mean, I love him to death.
01:08He's played the quarterback position.
01:09He knows how it feels to be out there in the football field, how to be in the fire.
01:13So when it comes to him coaching us, he knows exactly how we're feeling.
01:15So if we're off missing a couple of receivers at practice, he knows how to get us back in rhythm,
01:20a little quick short throw, things of that nature.
01:22So just having him just to relate to us and we all relate to each other as a whole group,
01:26I mean, he's done a really good job.
01:28He's taught me a lot concept-wise, just being out there on the football field,
01:31communicating, leading.
01:33It's the way to see defense is better.
01:35But overall, he's been a great coach.
01:37I appreciate him a lot.
01:38He's pushing me every day, always telling me things I can get better at.
01:41But I love him to death.
01:42He jokes around a lot, but he's a proud dad and I appreciate him a lot.
