A race in Bolivia went literally to the dogs as hundreds of pooches and their owners took part in Perroton, a race organized by the Bolivian Police to encourage responsible pet ownership on Sunday, July 27.
No matter the size or breed, all contestants had to finish the nearly 1-kilometer race leaving some… dog-tired.
The race was divided into three categories separating dog breeds into small, medium and large.
The event, which also celebrates 200 years of service of the Bolivian Police, seeks to raise public awareness about the care, protection and love for animals.
