00:00The Pittsburgh Steelers have gone all-in in 2025. We know that's true. Aaron Rodgers,

00:04DK Metcalf, Jalen Ramsey, you can go down the line. But what if I told you

00:07that their season largely hands on one unit and one player in particular?

00:16The 2025 Pittsburgh Steelers will go as far as their offensive line goes. And as far as their

00:21line goes, well, that's up to Broderick Jones. That's right. The left tackle for the Pittsburgh

00:26Steelers in 2025, a player who has never played left tackle in the NFL. Broderick Jones is the

00:31Pittsburgh Steelers under the most pressure to perform this upcoming season. If he does not,

00:36and if the Steelers' offensive line is not incredibly good, this team has no chance of

00:40reaching their goals. Aaron Rodgers is not the same player that beat the Pittsburgh Steelers

00:44back in the Super Bowl over 15 years ago. He just doesn't have that kind of mobility,

00:49that kind of ability to ad-lib, to make plays out of structure as he once did.

00:53So what does that mean? That there is an emphasis on the young two tackles of the

00:57Pittsburgh Steelers to do a great job. Obviously, you have Troy Faltano at right tackle,

01:01and now Broderick Jones at left tackle. At least with Troy, you know, it's basically going to be

01:06his rookie season. He missed all of last year following that knee injury that happened very

01:10early on in the regular season. So Broderick Jones has to hold down the fort at left tackle.

01:15There's going to be some growing pains for Troy Faltano. We know that's going to happen.

01:19And quite frankly, the same is going to happen with Broderick Jones. But not only do the Steelers'

01:24offensive chances, and really because of that, their season chances, hang on how well Broderick

01:30Jones does. Broderick Jones is in the most pivotal year of his NFL career. As a former

01:35first-round pick heading into year three, what he does this year will determine what his NFL future

01:40looks like. Because the Steelers are going to have to decide come next spring whether or not they pick

01:44up his fifth-year option, which determines how much longer he's in Pittsburgh, and quite frankly,

01:49how much longer he will be in the league. So for Broderick Jones, he is the player under the

01:54most pressure for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025. He has to perform if Aaron Rodgers is going to

01:59perform. He has to keep Aaron Rodgers clean. He has to be much better than he was at right tackle.

02:05And it's about time that the Pittsburgh Steelers finally put him at left tackle. The whole reason

02:09that Jones has struggled throughout this process is because they decided to play him at right tackle

02:14when he's a natural left tackle that still need a lot of work, that still need a lot of development.

02:19So if you're the Pittsburgh Steelers, you finally are making good on this first-round draft pick from

02:242023. But if you're Broderick Jones, your time is now. You have to show why the team traded up for you.

02:30You have to show that you can protect Aaron Rodgers and that you can help the team achieve their goals

02:35in 2025.
