00:04class but there's one rookie who if the team is going to reach their goals has to have the

00:09biggest impact and he may not even start when September rolls around. The Pittsburgh Sears

00:16hired Arthur Smith because they want to be an elite run first offense. They've put a ton of

00:22investments into the offensive line in recent years to do just that and now they have their

00:28running back of the future. That's right. Caleb Johnson is going to be the player the rookie

00:33that will have the biggest impact on the Pittsburgh Sears if they are to reach their goals in 2025 and I

00:38understand that Jalen Warren is the incumbent that he's been there he's done that he just

00:42re-signed with the Pittsburgh Sears and he is their starter right now but the Pittsburgh Sears they

00:48didn't draft Caleb Johnson in the third round for him to sit the bench long term. They didn't draft

00:52him quite honestly to sit the bench even this season. I mean have we ever seen Arthur Smith

00:57rave over any player the way he did with Caleb Johnson the night that he was drafted calling

01:02him scheme independent calling him one of the most instinctive running backs he's ever seen at the

01:07position. Caleb Johnson is going to be your Sears starting running back it's just a matter of when

01:13not if it happens in the 2025 season. This is a guy who personifies the Pittsburgh Sears running back

01:19position. He's big he's smooth he's elite in short areas and with the ball in his hands. He can make

01:25people miss despite being well over six foot and 200 pounds. This is a guy who yeah he's not going

01:30to blow you away with how explosive he is in the 40 yard dash but go watch his tape. You see somebody

01:35who has effortless movement skills who can get vertical north and south has no issue running in

01:41a wide zone scheme which is exactly what Arthur Smith deploys. So for the Pittsburgh Sears to reach

01:47their goals for them to take the step that they want to take they need first and foremost for their

01:52offensive line to produce. They need Broderick Jones to be good. They need Troy Faltano to be good.

01:57They need the interior led by Zach Frazier to be dominant. What they then need is for their offense

02:03to work off play action and a strong run game and while Jalen Warren figures to mix into that it all

02:09starts and ends with Caleb Johnson. He is going to be the key to the puzzle. He's going to be the piece

02:14that they have been missing on offense that can take this team and this offense from mediocre to elite.
