00:00The thing that made me want to make Back in the Saddle kind of the lead single for my next record

00:04is I think that's kind of what this song's about. It's just getting back in the swing of things,

00:09letting people know that you got new music coming out. I'm excited about being around and being on

00:16tour and being in the studio and writing songs and just being around and just excited for people

00:22to check it out. When we were kind of writing this thing, we were finishing it up, so Jonathan and

00:28Dan had sent me the chorus to this thing and they were like, man, is this going in the right

00:32direction for this movie thing? And I remember being like, dude, this is me thing for sure.

00:40Came in a few days later, you know, got together with those guys and woodshedded this thing. And

00:46I mean, it's just fun, dude. I mean, I really get to write, I mean, I got to write this song with,

00:51you know, two of my best friends, you know. And so that's just such a unique thing to get to do. And

00:58to feel so confident in the writing process and being able to trust those guys and those guys

01:03being able to trust me. And yeah, man, it's turned out really great. I think it's going to be

01:10a huge tune for me. I really, really do. I hope fans, you know, take away from this song, you know,

01:15man, it's just, just, I don't know. It's like, I just think this song is kind of badass, to be

01:20completely honest, you know. And it feels tough. You know, when we, when we wrote it and we recorded

01:26it, it felt tough. And, you know, man, I just, I mean, and you just hope people love it, really.
