00:00My bad.
00:01When I was in Toronto, or when I was in Toronto,
00:04I was told that you can't pronounce a T.
00:06Like, it's super offensive.
00:08So, Toronto!
00:13Hey, y'all.
00:14I'm Wynn the Wipe, and this is my first friggin' Amy.
00:20First artist I ever fell in love with was Mr. Todd Childress.
00:23He's a modern country artist.
00:25Someone I've always looked up to,
00:26lyricism, melodies, everything.
00:28I just really love the way he writes,
00:30and I feel that a lot of the way I write
00:32is coming from his music, too.
00:33So yeah, Todd Childress is definitely one of the first artists
00:35I've ever fell in love with.
00:40First concert I ever got to go to was Mr. Wyatt Flores.
00:44Big fan of Wyatt Flores.
00:45I've always been following him
00:46since his first journey of music.
00:48Got to go to his concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
00:51at Canes Ballroom.
00:52It's a crazy experience, and I hope someday
00:55that I get to play that venue
00:56so I can have that full circle moment.
00:57Seeing one of my favorite artists to claim
01:00or one of my favorite artists play.
01:05First headline show that I ever played
01:06was actually my own hometown.
01:08Well, close to my hometown.
01:09I was in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
01:10I'm from Hackett, Arkansas,
01:11so it's just a hot skip and a jump away.
01:14You know, it was crazy,
01:15as I had never known how big my name was in Arkansas.
01:19I mean, I passed my people.
01:20Nobody could really recognize me,
01:21but I played there and people wanted me to sign the boots.
01:24I signed foreheads.
01:25That was really crazy.
01:27Bellies, it was really weird,
01:29but it was a great time nonetheless.
01:30So yeah, definitely.
01:31It was a Fayetteville Arkansas, the first time.
01:37First song that I finished writing
01:38was Everything in the Sun.
01:40It was actually the very first song I ever got to put out.
01:42We recorded that in the rep room in my house.
01:44We brought a producer up there
01:47and he just had a couple of mics out there.
01:48I didn't know the lyrics that well,
01:50but when we got through it,
01:51and yeah, it was the very first song
01:53we ever actually got to put out.
01:54It was the very first song I ever finished,
01:55called Everything in the Sun.
02:01First song I had awards in the recording studio
02:03was with my buddy, Mr. Baggy Blankenship.
02:06We did Jailbreak and Sunday Stuff.
02:08It was two songs we collabed on,
02:10and we did those over in Nashville, Tennessee
02:12at a friend of ours, Brett Truett,
02:14and he produced other songs for us,
02:16and it was a great time.
02:17First time ever getting exposed to the producing
02:20and like studio limelight,
02:21so it was really cool to get over there
02:22getting to witness all that
02:24and watching an artist at his craft.
02:30First time I was ever recognized in public.
02:32So what I can remember was in a Walmart,
02:35because you know, Arkansas,
02:36we're pretty big on them things.
02:38Walmart's, yeah, I mean, that's where we come from,
02:40so it's Walmart's and songs
02:41is what we're really big on the 94.
02:42So yeah, I think a Walmart, I was shopping,
02:45and I was just with my fan room or something,
02:48and two girls just run up to me,
02:50and they're like, can I help you?
02:53But they're just, you're way in the wild.
02:55I was like, that I am, let me beat you.
02:57Because you know, when you're out,
02:58I like to say when you're out in the wild,
03:00you don't really recognize or remember who you are in a way.
03:03So like, I'm just going with my family.
03:04I think I'm an old guy, which I am an old guy,
03:07but like, I forget that my name is somewhat known to people.
03:10So yeah, it was crazy.
03:12It was the first time I was over at a Walmart.
03:18First thing I'm going to do when I finish the tour
03:20is catch up on my sleep schedule.
03:21I'm pretty bad at sleeping on time.
03:23I'm really bad at falling asleep on my phone in my hands,
03:27and it does and all.
03:29So yeah, definitely catch up on a few hours of sleep.
03:31I'm definitely going to go hang out with a few friends of mine
03:33and I'll catch up on some good times.
03:35I like to keep a few good friends that are counting on my hand.
03:37That's like, that's how I've always kept it.
03:39You know, I've never really ventured out to that space.
03:42So I'm glad that I only have a few good friends back home,
03:45but yeah, it doesn't mean catch up
03:46on with two friends back home too.
03:52First, I'm always over starstruck.
03:54Honestly, I've met quite a few artists
03:56that I've always looked up to,
03:57but I've never been really starstruck.
03:58Now, if I were ever to meet Todd Shooters
04:01or if Hank Williams Sr. was to rise back from his grave
04:04and come and meet with me,
04:06that's the moment that I probably just,
04:08my jaw would drop to the floor
04:10and I'd have a heart attack, something like that.
04:12Or I'd just drop to my knees or, oh no, where are you?
04:14You know, it is just,
04:15those two are the ones I've always
04:17completely looked up to for sure.
04:23First childhood memory.
04:25First childhood memory.
04:26Climbing a 25-foot flagpole at seven years old.
04:30In my memory, it's really not the best,
04:32but I remember climbing a 25-foot flagpole
04:35to put a flag up in the pole at seven years old,
04:38which was probably not the safest thing.
04:40Now, I don't remember exactly
04:42there being any parental guidance along my side.
04:45So yeah, we really got up to no good when I was younger.
04:49So, yeah, crazy.
04:55First pet, first pet I do recall
04:57was this dog named Frank.
04:59He had the floppiest ear too.
05:01Black floppy ears and his eyes would sag.
05:03So he walked everywhere, he just looked depressed,
05:05but he had long legs.
05:07So kind of look like a skinwalker when he's running at you.
05:09It's kind of scary in a way.
05:11He was always up to no good.
05:12He would take the trash from other peoples
05:14because we didn't have trash cans back when we had him,
05:18and he would always take the trash bags
05:19and he'd just walk up and down the street
05:21and drag it along, and then a hole would bust out of it,
05:24and he'd just, it's trash,
05:25and we'd spread out across the street.
05:27Other people hated us.
05:28That dog's long gone.
05:29I think people are blah-blah-blah-blah,
05:30but I ain't really blah-blah.
05:32He was a good dog, man, the best.
05:37First text that I sent this for him,
05:39I don't really quite remember if I sent any texts.
05:41Oh, well, I did.
05:42There was something about food.
05:43I'm a big bag.
05:44We had a photo shoot earlier,
05:46so there was something about,
05:47is there going to be food on the side for us?
05:49So, yeah, definitely.
05:51Always hungry.
05:56First international trip.
05:57First place I've been,
05:59like the furthest from my home state was Canada.
06:02Or when I was in Toronto,
06:04I was told that you can't pronounce a T,
06:06like it's super offensive.
06:07So Toronto, I was in Toronto.
06:09Had a headline show there.
06:11It's about 800 people.
06:12It was probably one of the biggest
06:13item on the show to date.
06:14So, yeah, it was awesome there.
06:16We got to catch a hockey game,
06:17which I'm not the biggest in sports,
06:18but it was a great time nonetheless.
06:19And it was the Maple Leafs hockey game.
06:21And apparently they're known for like losing,
06:23but they're also known for their fans
06:24just always be encouraging.
06:26Like they know that they're going to lose
06:27at the end of the night,
06:28and they still are just up and at it the whole time.
06:32So it was a really great time.
06:37My first dream job was a baseball,
06:40a professional baseball player,
06:41and which was a horrible first dream job.
06:44Cause I am not athletic whatsoever.
06:46Don't like, I'm somewhat in shape.
06:49And don't let that fool you.
06:51I was not good at sports whatsoever.
06:52I played basketball, football, baseball, and track,
06:54but I sat benched in every single one of them.
06:57Track, I was always left to do the mile and track.
07:00Like everybody else would get to do the cool ones.
07:02And I was there just out of breath at the very end of it.
07:04It was not fun whatsoever.
07:05I put that pretty early on.
07:07Football and baseball were probably my favorites,
07:09and I absolutely sucked those up too.
07:11Professional baseball player was definitely a problem,
07:13of course, dream job.
07:15Thanks for watching my first enemy.
07:17I'm Willie Y.
07:17God bless y'all.
07:18Thank you so much.
07:19I hope you enjoyed it.
