Presiden Amerika Serikat (AS), Donald Trump mengumumkan negaranya telah mencapai kesepakatan dagang terbaru dengan Filipina.
Dalam kesepakatan tersebut, tarif impor untuk produk Filipina ditetapkan sebesar 19 persen, turun tipis dari tarif sebelumnya sebesar 20 persen.
Kesepakatan ini tercapai setelah pertemuan bilateral antara Trump dan Presiden Filipina, Marcos di Gedung Putih, Washington, DC, pada Selasa, 22 Juli 2025 waktu setempat.
Kendati penurunannya hanya satu persen, hal ini menunjukkan tantangan besar yang dihadapi para pemimpin asing dalam membujuk Trump untuk melonggarkan kebijakan tarifnya.
