00:00Hey everybody, I just finished my workout. Hope you got your workout in. So I guess we got to talk about Jeffrey Epstein. If you know me, you know I don't like talking about this kind of stuff. You can miss me with most of these conspiracy theories. In this case, it's something that's proven in a court of law. This guy was a monster, that he was a sexual predator who trafficked in underage young women who he abused. He did have an island. He had a co-conspirator who's still alive and who is in prison right now.
00:28And he's also somebody who, around the time when he was committing these crimes, described himself as being best friends with our current president, who apparently, according to the Wall Street Journal, wrote a very strange letter and doodle to him for his birthday that was apparently drawn from the FBI files that have not been released.
00:47And I understand you want to deny and say that it's not true or that it's not real. But you know, there's really only one way to solve that. If you want to dispute it, there's one really clear way. You can just release it. Just release the files.
00:59It's your executive department. Y'all been doing all kinds of other stuff. So you know, to me, this is pretty straightforward. Just release the files and then let's see. But I think this is also part of a broader theme, which is a president and a party that have been consistently breaking their promises to the folks who voted for them in the last election, saying that we're going to cut folks Medicaid and their health care, and then kicking millions off
01:29but raising their costs in this last bill, also they can cut taxes for the rich. Now saying all along that you're going to be releasing these files, you're going to try and hold the powerful to account. But we know you're actually on the side of the rich and the powerful. So you're not going to do that. This is the ultimate example of that. And so to me, this is all a part of a broader issue that we have, which is that folks were lied to in the last election. And the good news is, we have another one coming up in a year and a half. And we can do something about it. But in the meantime, just probably release those files.
