In a video announcement on Thursday, Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) announced an amendment to reveal more info about the Epstein Files.
Transcript
00:00I think most Americans are familiar with the horrendous crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein.
00:06What we don't know is the full story of what the U.S. government did about them, who else
00:12was investigated, who Epstein's associates were, and so we need transparency.
00:20And that's why I offered an amendment today in the Senate Appropriations Committee, which
00:24passed, that requires the Department of Justice to preserve all the documents related to the
00:31Jeffrey Epstein cases, and to report to Congress answering very important questions about this case.
00:40The American people deserve transparency, and they deserve accountability.
00:45That's what this is all about.
