Police have recorded statements from 90 individuals as part of the ongoing investigation into the controversial eHati marital motivation programme.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed on Sunday (July 20) that those questioned include facilitators, participants, and staff members associated with the organising company.

00:24He added that the investigation remains active and covers all aspects, including allegations
00:30of rituals said to conflict with Islamic teachings.
00:34Last Friday, the Shah Alam Magistrate's Court rejected a police request to extend the remand
00:40of six individuals, including the husband and wife founders of the EHATI program, their
00:45child and three others.
00:48The six were previously remanded for three days to assist police investigations.
00:53The case involves minor criminal offenses, including indecent behavior and defamation.
