Police are pursuing several leads in the investigation into the break-in and robbery at the home of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s granddaughter in Bukit Ledang.
Acting Kuala Lumpur police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad said during a press conference at the city police headquarters on Monday (July 28) that investigators have obtained additional evidence, including thumbprints, which are now being analysed by the forensics team.
He added that the house’s CCTV system only retains footage for 24 hours, limiting the availability of useful recordings for the investigation.
