A total of 48 individuals have had their statements recorded in connection with the disappearance of Datin Seri Pamela Ling Yueh, police revealed on Wednesday (July 2).

Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad said a photofit of the suspect has been developed, but so far, the closest match found is only about 40%.

He added that investigators are employing multiple approaches, including reviewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, to track down the suspect and uncover further leads.
