In today's GB News Daily Reflections, we reflect on how our father in heaven is merciful to us, just like Jesus says in Luke chapter 636."This is mercy, to be given something that you just don't deserve."My wife and I are merciful to our children because we know that we do stuff wrong all the time as well."

00:12there are times when my kids just do stuff wrong that i know is wrong they know it's wrong
00:18and well there needs to be a punishment sometimes my wife and i ask what the punishment should be
00:25we explain that perhaps a toy should be taken away from them
00:29or a day out that we have planned might be taken away as well
00:33but sometimes we say even though that they should lose the day out or that toy we're going to give
00:41it to them anyway why because that's what my wife and i believe god does for us my kids at that moment
00:52deserve a punishment they don't deserve a treat a gift however they get it anyway
00:58it shows how much we love them it shows how much we care about them but this is mercy
