In today's GB News Daily Reflections, we look at how hope is not pretending that trouble doesn't exist."As Christians, we speak a life over a future, and we believe that what we see now is not the full picture. "God sees the full picture and he's the anchor of our hope. And Lord, we just pray that he helps us to trust in him."

00:04Hello, my name is Nimsabunga and I'm the pastor of Freedom's Ark Church
00:10and member of the Evangelical Alliance here in the Tottenham Town Hall.
00:15Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 12,
00:18For now we see through a gloss, darkly but then face to face.
00:24You sometimes life can be unclear, confusing, incomplete,
00:28but hope reminds us that there is more ahead
00:31and that we will see clearly one day.
00:34Author Lisa Turkus said,
00:37Hope is not pretending that trouble doesn't exist.
00:40It's the trust that they won't last forever.
00:42So today we choose hope over our despair.
00:46It's important to write down our dreams.
00:48Many years ago I interviewed George Foreman
00:50and he said if you wake up in the morning without a dream,
00:54we should go back to sleep.
00:55As Christians, we speak life over our future
00:58and we believe that what we see now is not the full picture.
01:02God sees the full picture and he's the anchor of our hope.
01:07And Lord, we just pray that he helps us to trust in him.
