Another hot and sunny day ahead for the UK today, with some cloud around along eastern coasts. Temperatures very warm again, but a touch cooler than Saturday, and more comfortable along North Sea coasts. - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the morning of 13/07/2025. 00:00Good morning.

00:01Well, it's going to be another very warm day out there before something more changeable

00:06comes through Monday and Tuesday to give us cooler and fresher conditions.

00:10But back to this morning, there's still this low cloud just lingering across parts of Scotland

00:15and northeastern England, retreating back to the coast.

00:18As we go through the afternoon, there's going to be a bit more cloud in the forecast compared

00:22to Saturday across parts of the Midlands and East Anglia.

00:26We may even see a few showers just bubbling up across parts of Wales, the Midlands, northern

00:30England and southern Scotland.

00:33But for the majority of us, it's fine, it's dry, it's sunny and it's still going to be

00:38very warm.

00:39Not as hot as Saturday, but still temperatures rising 29, 30, possibly 31 degrees, but always

00:46cooler along those eastern coasts, especially underneath any lingering low cloud and sea

00:52fog.

00:53So as we go through Sunday evening, we see the return of that low cloud pushing in from

00:58the North Sea, so affecting parts of Scotland, northern England into East Anglia as well.

01:03But out towards the west, we see low pressure arriving, so showery outbreaks of rain later

01:10arriving into Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland.

01:13Otherwise, it is still going to be a very warm night to come.

01:18So temperatures not dropping far below 15 to even 17 or 18 degrees in some places.

01:25So a warm start to Monday once again with this low cloud.

01:29But out towards the west, that's where we start to see showery outbreaks of rain continuing

01:34to push its way north and eastward.

01:36So Northern Ireland into Wales, southwestern England, and then eventually moving into Northern

01:42England and Scotland.

01:44And here, that's where it's going to be the heaviest, most persistent, but also perhaps

01:49with the odd rumble of thunder, perhaps even some thunderstorms breaking out across central

01:53parts of England.

01:55Now, driest across the southeast, and here it is still going to be feeling hot, temperatures

02:00actually around 29 or 30 degrees, but in the west, we'll tap in to some cooler and fresher

02:06air, so temperatures returning closer to average, temperatures 22 to 24 degrees.
