By dawn, the palace descends into turmoil as Lieon is accused of treason. Liu arrives bloodied and silent. In the town square, Cian protects Lieon from public shame. The king then appoints Lieon to lead the army. Before departing, he offers Cian wildflowers in a silent farewell.
On the battlefield, Lieon’s unit is trapped in a deadly ambush betrayed by Liu. Meanwhile, back at the palace, Cian collapses, overcome by pain and a growing sense of dread. Something is terribly wrong.
