Glasgow’s largest beer garden is right beside the Green and here’s why you should visit before TRNSMT

We visit WEST brewery, a beer hall right beside Glasgow Green.

00:16This garden should be packed. You'll be able to overhear the music from Transmit.

00:21There'll just be good vibes, good atmosphere all weekend. All of our beer is brewed on site as well.

00:28What is West? West is a German run brewery. West was founded by Petra 18 years ago now. 19?

00:3619 years ago. Oh my goodness, we've been going for a while.

00:39All of the beer brewed is by the German purity law and then we've opened up the beer hall.

00:45We've got event spaces. So lots going on.

00:48The beer garden is an absolute hotspot. Obviously in the morning we've got a couple of tables in the sun

00:53but by the afternoon every single table is in the Glasgow sunshine.

00:56We've got Wonder Bar out here so you can get drinks out here. We've also got a pop-up doghouse just here

01:04which we'll be serving hot dogs and fries all weekend.

01:08But it's just a really, really lovely atmosphere.

01:11Obviously it overlooks Glasgow Green. We're right next to Transmit so you'll be hearing the music.

01:15But it's just good vibes. Good vibes all round. I feel like if people haven't got tickets to Transmit

01:21and they just want to come here, soak up a bit of the atmosphere, get to see everyone around.

01:25It's just a nice place to be.

01:28I think the beauty of this location is being just off Glasgow Green.

01:32We get everyone passing by. Everyone stops here.

01:35If you don't want to be kind of fully in the energy of it, we've still got a really lush atmosphere in the garden.
