Leeds Rhinos women's coach Lois Forsell feels her side are in a "good spot" after a big win v Leigh Leopards.

00:00Would you sum that one up then, Lois?

00:02I think overall, obviously good to get the win, heading into the next couple of weeks.

00:07We've got obviously two weeks before we play Saints back a year at Headly, so I think we

00:11made a couple of changes from the previous week, so it was a steady win, I would say.

00:17I think really pleased with how we defended in our own half, but obviously a little bit

00:21disappointed with the points that we conceded, really.

00:23Getting players coming back into the squad, how important is that with the big games coming

00:26up against us, as you say, Saints?

00:27Yeah, I think obviously we spoke about early doors, we had quite a lot of injuries and

00:31a lot of chopping and changing in our first four weeks of the season, so to be able to

00:36now bring players back in that have been on that injury list is good, and it just gives

00:39you that strength and depth, and it means that towards the back end of the season, the girls

00:42are hopefully more challenging for spots, and that's what we want, really, is a strong,

00:47deep squad that everyone's challenging to get into the 17 week in, week out.

00:51You brought Jess Sharp into the squad in the last couple of weeks, are you looking at any

00:54other players to bring in without naming them?

00:57No, I think where we're at at the minute is probably where we'll be at come the end

01:01of the transfer window closing, but obviously always open for any discussions, but I think

01:06we're in a really good spot with the players that we've got in, Jess were a great addition,

01:10you know, we're hungry and excited to get Lacey back in the mix, obviously she's struggled

01:14since she came in, but yeah, we're in a good spot with the girls that we've got, obviously

01:20I think our young players that we've had from our academy come through have been going really

01:23well too, so yeah, we're in a good spot with, you know, more opportunity to select a 17 rather

01:29than have a 17 available than what we had at the beginning of the year.
