00:00Did you say it was a spray at half-time?
00:04No, it wasn't a spray because I don't know that it was going to make much difference.
00:10We just talked about that it was probably our worst 40 minutes.
00:14It was embarrassing.
00:15And we had 40 minutes to just chase a performance, not the scoreboard.
00:19And unfortunately, we continued to chase the scoreboard.
00:22We got ourselves back to 8-4, but it just didn't feel likely.
00:25They just felt like they were working harder than us.
00:28I was going to say, did you feel there was a legitimate chance at 8-4 to turn it around?
00:33Oh, look, if we could have jagged a try here or there,
00:35sometimes the bounce of the ball and some things go against you.
00:38But when your attitude's good, those things go for you.
00:42And when your attitude's not, they just seem to build up
00:44and find a way to keep working against you.
00:48So is this a kick up the backside, a reality check, a reset?
00:52Yeah, look, it's 80 minutes, we're disappointed.
00:55But we need to move on from it.
00:56And, you know, like I've said, the only thing that's really important now
01:00is we don't get that 80 minutes back, unfortunately.
01:03But we get a chance to respond.
01:05You've got players chomping at the bit to get involved.
01:07Would you be looking potentially to make changes for next time?
01:11Oh, look, it's too early to talk about that.
01:12I think these guys are the number of credit.
01:15But, you know, they've got to understand that every weekend,
01:20every 80 minutes counts.
01:22It all matters.
01:23And what was the situation with Morgan as well?
01:25That he didn't come up for the second half?
01:26Yeah, something to do with his shin.
01:28So we need to send him for scans and x-ray just to, yeah, to check that.
01:34Something that's resulted from the game?
01:35Yeah, no, he got, there was a tackle there that someone fell on his lead
01:39and he just got put in an awkward position.
01:41So we've just got to check his shin, yeah.
01:45Okay.
01:46Did Mikulenski get a knock?
01:48No, I was just at the back end of the game.
01:50I thought, well, we needed, you know, we were chasing points.
01:55We were trying to win the game.
01:56So, you know, it makes a good, tough, hard worker.
01:58We needed to play so that we could probably try and create.
02:02And even at the end of the game, the job is to try and,
02:05even if it's hard, we try and find a way where we can scrap the win
02:09and then deal with it later.
02:11So it's just trying to have all the guys out there
02:13who've got a bit of ball playing them.
02:16Were there a couple of errors in the first half playing the ball
02:19that they must be particularly frustrating?
02:22Especially when we've worked really hard in the pre-season
02:24and done a lot of penalties around it.
02:26And, like I said, I think that comes back to your concentration,
02:31which is in the first military.
02:33Have you any thoughts on the incident, the captain's challenge?
02:37And that sort of thing, you'd expect the referee probably to refer it
02:40to the video ref and it costs you a challenge.
02:43He obviously referred the rival one try, which looked like a try.
02:46Or I think you would most of the time, yeah, you'd go to the video ref.
02:51I think, you know, there was one where we looked like we run dead
02:54and they stopped the game and went to the video ref.
02:56So I don't know why you wouldn't go to the video ref
02:58on a try-scoring opportunity.
03:01I know it was obviously the same for both teams with the heat,
03:04but do you think that had any effect?
03:06Oh, it's a choice.
03:07You can choose whether you want to make it an effect or not,
03:10and obviously we did.
03:10Thank you, bro.
