Leeds Rhinos coach Brad Arthur reflects on his side's superb comeback win at Super League leaders Hull KR (with apologies for the shaky camera in the first few sesonds).
00:00Yeah, I'm extremely proud. I've seen a bit of belief in them during the week, the way we trained. We had a good long turnaround. I sense a bit of expectation that they thought they were coming here to win, which is good.
00:19And then even at half-time, we were down 8-0, but we weren't bad. I thought we were very good in the first half, but they were very, very good.
00:29And we talked about, well, to beat them, we have to be very, very good in the second half. And we were.
00:35I think both teams, credit to them. The footy was just hand-to-hand. There wasn't a lot of errors.
00:41You know, it was just a lot of... I'd like to see the ball in play. I reckon it was pretty high.
00:46How more satisfying is he coming out on the right end of his goal? And after a game like that, as you said, it was so attritional, so intimate, you could see how much he took out on both sides.
00:55Yeah, two things. You know, last time we played them, we had them, I think, with 10 minutes to go.
01:01And we probably, that was a game we should have won, we should have kicked on, but we probably just lacked a little bit of composure at times in the last 10 minutes.
01:10And they came up with some big plays. Then we probably went into our shell a little bit and tried to protect the league.
01:15But we learnt from it and we went after it tonight when we got, you know, 16 minutes in front.
01:20We kept playing and we knew that they'd be dangerous. So that's the first part of it.
01:25And then the second part of it is, you don't get anything unless you work hard.
01:28And the boys worked hard in the pre-season. It's not always going to turn out like they did today, but that's on the back of hard work.
01:33And you have to look at the whole KR. Obviously they work very hard. And that's why they're successful.
