00:00In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The grace of our Lord Jesus
00:19Christ through the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all and with your
00:24Spirit. Good morning everyone. Today we celebrate in our State Territory Day. Let us pray for the
00:32State, the Territory and the people around here especially the original First Nation people
00:43and also for all our intentions. In today's Gospel we see that Jesus and the disciples were on a boat
00:52and the boat was troubled with the wind. So we all are traveling, we all are on a journey.
01:01Sometimes we face heavy storms, sorrows, sadness, troubles in our day-to-day lives. Remember that
01:11He is always with us. Sometimes we fail to understand, fail to experience His presence with us
01:19and within us and around us. That's why we are stressed, we are worried.
01:28Let's take a moment to accept all our failures and weaknesses and ask iron for that
01:33and prepare ourselves to celebrate sacred mysteries.
01:36I confess to Almighty God and you my brothers and sisters that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts
01:53and in my words and what I have done and what I have failed to do through my fault, through my fault,
02:00through my most previous fault. Therefore I ask Blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints,
02:06and you my brothers and sisters to pray for me to the Lord our God. May our mighty God have mercy on us,
02:14forgive us our sins and bring us to everlasting life. Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy,
02:23Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy. Let us pray.
02:35Our God, who through the grace of adoption chose us to be children of light, grant we pray,
02:43that we may not be wrapped in the darkness of error,
02:46but always be seen to stand in the bright light of truth.
02:53Through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
02:59God forever and ever. Amen.
03:02A reading from the book of Genesis
03:15The angels urged Lot, Come, take your wife and these two daughters of yours, or you will be overwhelmed
03:23in the punishment of the town. And as he hesitated, the men took him by the hand,
03:31and his wife and his two daughters, because of the pity,
03:45Lord fed for him. They led him out and left him outside the town. As they were leading him out,
03:53he said, run for your life, neither look behind you, nor stop anywhere on the plain. Make for the hills,
04:04if you would not be overwhelmed. Now, I beg you, my Lord.
04:10Lot said to them, your servant has won your favour, and you have shown great kindness to me in saving
04:18my life. But I could not reach the hills before this calamity overtook me. And death with it,
04:28the town over there is near enough to flee to, and is a little one. Let me make for that,
04:36is it not little? And my life will be saved. He answered, I grant you this favour too and will
04:46not destroy the town you speak of. Hurry, escape to it, for I can do nothing until you reach it.
04:53That is why the town is named Saul. As the sun rose over the land and Lot entered Saul,
05:01the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah, brimstone and fire from the Lord. He overthrew these towns
05:10and the whole plain with all the inhabitants of the towns and everything that grew there. But the wife
05:19of Lot looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. Rising early in the morning, Abraham went to
05:30the place where he had stood before the Lord, and looking towards Sodom and Gomorrah, and across
05:37all the plain, he saw the smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace. Thus it was that when
05:47God destroyed the towns of the plain, he kept Abraham in mind, and rescued Lot out of disaster,
05:55when he overwhelmed the towns where Lot lived. The Word of the Lord
06:03the Lord responds, O Lord, your kindness is before my eyes.
06:13Examine me, Lord, and try me, O test my heart and my mind, for your love is before my eyes,
06:24and I walk according to your truth. O Lord, your kindness is before my eyes.
06:30Do not sweep me away with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men,
06:38in whose hands are evil clothes, whose right hand are filled with gold.
06:44O Lord, your kindness is before my eyes. As for me, I walk the path of perfection.
06:52Redeem me and show me your mercy. My foot stands on level ground. I will bless the
07:00Lord in the assembly. O Lord, your kindness is before my eyes.
07:06Alleluia. Alleluia. I hope in the Lord. I trust in his word. Alleluia.
07:14The Lord be with you.
07:17Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
07:23Jesus got into the boat, followed by his disciples. Without warning, a storm broke over the lake,
07:30so violent that the waves were breaking right over the boat. But he was asleep. So they went to him
07:40and woke him up, saying, Save us, Lord, we are going down. And he said to them,
07:47Why are you so frightened, you men of little faith? And with that, he stood up and rebuked the winds
07:54and the seas, and all was calm again. The men were astounded and said, Whatever kind of man this is,
08:07even the winds and the sea obey him. The Gospel of the Lord.
08:14Blessed are you, Lord God of our creation. For through your goodness, we have received the bread we offer you,
08:27fruit of the earth and work of human hands. It will become, for us, the bread of life.
08:32Blessed are you, Lord God of our creation. For through your goodness, we have received the bread we offer you,
08:38fruit of the wine and work of human hands. It will become our spiritual drink.
08:54Blessed are you, Lord God of our creation. For through your goodness,
08:57we have received the wine we offer you, fruit of the wine and work of human hands.
09:01Blessed are you, Lord God of our creation. For brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be
09:22acceptable to God, the Almighty Father. May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and
09:28glory of his name. For our good and good of all his holy church. O God, who graciously accomplishes the
09:34effects of your mysteries, grant, we pray, that the deeds by which we serve you may be worthy of the
09:41sacred gifts. Through Christ our Lord, the Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks to the Lord,
09:52our God. It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to give you
10:00thanks, Father most holy, through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, your Lord, through whom you made all
10:06things, whom you sent as our Savior and Redeemer, incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin.
10:14Fulfilling your will and gaining for your holy people, he stretched out his hands as he endured his
10:20passion so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection. And so with angels and all the
10:26saints, we declare your glory as with one voice we acclaim. Holy, holy, holy Lord God of course,
10:36heaven and the earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is you,
10:40comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
10:43You are indeed holy, O Lord, the founder of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts,
10:52we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us,
10:58the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his
11:06passion. He to bread and giving thanks, broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this all of
11:14you and eat of it. For this is my body, which will be given up for you.
11:28For this is my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and
11:51for many, for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me.
12:08The mystery of faith. When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord,
12:14until you come again. Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we
12:21offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have felt as
12:27worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood
12:33of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your church, spread
12:40throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leah 14, the Pope, Charles,
12:47our Bishop and all the clergy. Remember also our brothers and sisters, who have fallen asleep in
12:55the hope of the resurrection, and all who have died in your mercy. Welcome them into the light of your
13:02face. Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Blessed Joseph,
13:09her spouse, with the Blessed Apostles, and all the saints, who have pleased you throughout the ages,
13:15remember to be cohesed with eternal life, and we praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
13:27Through him and with him and in him, God Almighty, Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
13:33all glory and honor receivers, forever and ever. At the Savior's command and formed by divine
13:47teaching, we died to say, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
13:54thou will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us
14:00our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
14:07but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil,
14:12graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from
14:19sin and save from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior,
14:24Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
14:30Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles,
14:33peace I leave you, my peace I give you. Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church,
14:40and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
14:44who live and reign forever and ever. Peace of the Lord be with you always.
14:51Let's offer you to the sign of peace.
15:03Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world of mercy on us.
15:26Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
15:30Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
15:34Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter into my room.
15:38But we say the Lord and my soul shall be healed.
15:42Lord, Lord, let us give me a second.
15:45My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
15:50I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul.
15:55Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
15:57come at least spiritually into my heart.
16:01I embrace you as if you were already there
16:03and unite myself wholly to you.
16:06Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
16:12Let us pray.
16:16May this divine sacrifice we have offered and received
16:19fill us with the life, O Lord, we pray,
16:23so that bound to you in lasting charity
16:26we may bear fruit that lasts forever
16:29through Christ, our Lord.
16:32The Lord be with you.
16:34Your mighty God bless you, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
16:38As you send it, let us go and live the gospel.
16:41Thanks be to God.
16:43Have a wonderful day.
16:44God bless you.
