00:00The name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
00:18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all, and with your spirit.
00:25Good morning everyone.
00:27In today's first reading from the book of Jeremiah, God said to Jeremiah, go to the clay potter's house.
00:37When the clay goes wrong, the potter makes it another one.
00:43God was asking, if clay potter can do that, why can't I?
00:50It's a reminder for us that even after receiving many blessings from God, if we are not ready to change, to accept the will of God,
01:03He may change His plan.
01:10God can do anything.
01:13That doesn't mean that He is going to punish us, but the blessings which He gives us to make us more beautiful and useful to the society,
01:29if we are not ready to accept that, it will be given to somebody else.
01:39If He can change the shape and things of the clay, He can do that.
01:50Most of the time we fail to understand and grateful for what we have today.
01:57Instead of that, we are worrying about things we are not having.
02:04Let's take a moment to accept all the blessings from God and be grateful for that.
02:11And accept the times we fail to understand and we fail to live a joyful life which God has given to us.
02:26Let's take a moment to say sorry for that and prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
02:33I confess to Almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words,
02:49in what I have done and in what I have prayed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault.
02:57Therefore, I ask the blessed Mary of Uruguay, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
03:05May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to everlasting life.
03:10Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.
03:18Let us pray.
03:19O God, protector of those who hope in you, without whom nothing has firm foundation, nothing is holy.
03:28Bestow in abundance your mercy upon us and grant that with you as our ruler and guide,
03:34we may use the good things that pass in such a way as to hold fast even now to those that ever endure.
03:45Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
03:59A reading from the Prophet Jeremiah.
04:01The word that was addressed to Jeremiah by the Lord,
04:06Get up and make your way down to the porter's house.
04:10There I shall let you hear what I have to say.
04:15So I went down to the porter's house, and there he came out, and there he was working at the wheel.
04:24And whenever the vessel he was making came out wrong, as happens with the clay handle by porters,
04:32he would start afresh and work it into another vessel, as porters do.
04:38Then this word of the Lord was addressed to me,
04:42House of Israel, cannot I do to you what this porter does?
04:51It is the Lord who speaks.
04:53Yes, as the clay is in the porter's hand, so you are in my house of Israel.
05:03The word of the Lord.
05:06Thanks be to God.
05:08Blessed are they whose help is the God of Jacob.
05:15Blessed are they whose help is the God of Jacob.
05:21My soul, give praise to the Lord. I will praise the Lord all my days.
05:27Make music to my God while I live.
05:30Blessed are they whose help is the God of Jacob.
05:36Put no trust in princes, in mortal men in whom there is no help.
05:43Take their breath, their return to clay, and their plans, that they come to nothing.
05:51Blessed are they whose help is the God of Jacob.
05:57He is happy who is helped by Jacob's God, whose hope is in the Lord his God,
06:04who alone made heaven and earth, the seas, and all they contain.
06:11Blessed are they whose help is the God of Jacob.
06:16Alleluia, Alleluia.
06:18Open your hearts, O Lord.
06:20Open our hearts, O Lord, to listen to the words of your Son.
06:24Alleluia.
06:29The Lord be with you.
06:31A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
06:34Glory to you, O Lord.
06:36Jesus said to the crowds,
06:38The kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea that brings in a haul of all kinds.
06:45When it is full, the fishermen haul it ashore.
06:50Then, sitting down, they collect the good ones in a basket and throw away those that are no use.
06:58This is how it will be at the end of time.
07:01The angels will appear and separate the wicked from the just.
07:06They throw them into the blazing furnace where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
07:12Have you understood all this?
07:14They said, Yes.
07:16And he said to them,
07:18Well then, every scribe who becomes a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out from his storeroom things both new and old.
07:30When Jesus had finished these parables, he left the district.
07:36Gospel of the Lord.
07:39Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
07:44Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
07:46For through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you.
07:50Fruit of the earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread of life.
07:54Blessed be God forever.
07:56By the mystery of this water and by the miracle of Michel,
07:59in the unity of Christ,
08:00the Father, the Son,
08:01and the Holy Spirit.
08:02Amen.
08:15Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
08:18For through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you.
08:22Fruit of the vine and work of human hands,
08:24it will become our spiritual drink.
08:26Blessed be God forever.
08:28May the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit be with you.
