00:00Recently I meant to get a piece of glass for the purpose of, I don't know if you've seen

00:05at the end of tennis matches sometimes, they have the player sign what seems to be on the

00:10camera lens, but probably they have a piece of glass in front of the camera and it's on

00:15that piece of glass that the player then makes their signature.

00:20But just before I got the piece of glass I ran into this, I spotted this in the store

00:24and it seemed to be like it's almost what I want with a little bit of something extra.

00:30I don't know how well it works or whatever, but there is a little piece of clear glass

00:34in this or perspex or whatever.

00:37We'll have a look at that now, let's just see what it says on the box.

00:40We have here a 3D drawing board, some pictures all glowy, there's the size of it, it's actually

00:49very small.

00:51I thought because this box was kind of biggish it was going to be the size of the box, but

00:55it seems not.

00:57And there's a kid with 3D glasses, if they are, usually these kinds of 3D glasses I know

01:02have like a red and a bluish green in the other eye, so I don't know how this is going

01:07to work.

01:08What does that say?

01:09Damp the cloth provided for optimal cleaning, choking hazard conforms to whatever that is,

01:16some pens and there is the 3D drawing board, where is it?

01:20Oh, it's this see-through thingy here, with it seems lights or something in it.

01:26Here, what does it say, warnings and whatever, what is this?

01:31Oh, the batteries it needs.

01:334AAA, yeah I didn't bring that along, but I'll get it somewhere I'm sure.

01:39And the other side seems to be just a duplicate of this one.

01:42Alrighty, let's see if this thing is as fantastic as it seems on the box.

01:47So you pull this out, oh it seems we are leaving half of the stuff in the box.

01:54Ok, there's that, cleaning cloth-y, seems the stuff fell out now.

02:00There's some stuff you can trace, we are not going to trace anything now.

02:06Oh, is this the little glass piece-y?

02:10Yeah, you have to pull off the protective stuff.

02:13It's a shame it's so small.

02:58Oh, now it's tearing into pieces instead of coming off clean.

03:41Ok, well, that was probably the least fun I ever had with a new toy.

03:45There, that ring is the ring light you're seeing.

03:48I suppose it's a good size.

03:50It will cover the camera lens and then I can sign on there.

03:54If I want to do something like those signing on the camera lens.

04:01I saw a lot of people do their educational videos.

04:03They write stuff like on the screen.

04:05Anyway, yeah.

04:07Here we have pictures that we can trace.

04:13And 3D glasses that seem to have clear lenses.

05:46They made nothing easy, did they?

05:52And there flies the lid off.

05:54But this is only 2 batteries.

05:57They said 4.

05:584 AAA batteries.

05:59So where was the rest of it supposed to go in?

06:02Now I meanwhile managed to get some batteries out of a different device.

06:10You see that one slid all the way down.

06:12So it is indeed gonna need 4 batteries of the AAA type.

06:32Why is everything about this product so difficult?

06:41And then you switch on your LED lights.

06:44And now as you can see the edges of the whole thing lit up.

06:48And now we are supposed to draw on this.

06:50And then look through our 3D glasses.

06:53Let's draw something first.

06:55Let's make blue outlines.

06:57Oh the outlines are actually glowing.

07:00Because of the LED lights.

07:02Where is the switch now?

07:03Oh the switch is on this side.

07:05See there is what I drew.

07:07And it sort of lights up when the light shines through the thing.

09:39It looks a bit weird.

09:40I could make you look through one of the lenses.

09:43Obviously you won't get the 3D effect then.

11:21Now why is it looking different?

11:22Just because I'm holding it far away.

11:25If you hold it close up.

11:27The 3D effect is actually less.

11:29If you hold the thing far away from you.

11:33Now it actually looks like a deeper picture.

11:35Let me do some kind of experiment quickly.

11:37See if I put that there.

11:39And then I watch it from even farther away.

11:42Ooh.

11:43That looks weird.

11:44Moving my head around.

11:46Especially with those red digits there.

11:48Let me see if I can maybe reproduce that for you.
