Amazing Cleans S01E03 (11th July 2022 )
Transcript
00:00In every corner of the country...
00:03I don't think it's ever been cleaned, to be honest.
00:05Grime and Muck are making mugs of us.
00:08It's a bit wishy. This is well dodged.
00:11They're looking to take over, and it's time that something was done.
00:15This is rank.
00:17Just some of the things we've aimed.
00:19Toilet. That's nice.
00:21Meet the fearless few...
00:23Woo!
00:25..on the front line of Fighting Phil.
00:27It's probably my favourite part of the whole job.
00:30Smells pretty rotten.
00:32Reminds me of Friday night's curry, this.
00:34They're battling bacteria.
00:37Clients ring up saying they've been sick in their car,
00:39and I wouldn't have it any other way, you know.
00:41No, grease is too tough.
00:43Look at that. Beautiful.
00:45And seeing off slime...
00:47It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it.
00:49..with their amazing cleans.
00:52Coming up, a giant, filthy forklift gets it in the face.
01:03I saw three of these, then.
01:05It's just getting around about an hour's worth of blasting.
01:09We evict a family of moths and help them settle into their new home
01:13at the bottom of a massive vacuum cleaner.
01:16We are ready for them.
01:17We are fighting them all.
01:19We're killing them.
01:20We're cleaning the carpet.
01:21And we meet a cleaner making an unbelievably big splash online.
01:26It's almost black.
01:28Around 150 million on one video, which is just insane.
01:32It's guaranteed to be gratifying.
01:38First, we're in Chingford,
01:40where a passionate pro cleaner is gearing up to fight some filth.
01:46Ryan is a cleaning genie
01:48who regularly pleases social media followers
01:51with videos of his handiwork.
01:58Where are you heading today, Ryan?
02:00OK, so we're going to a job in Lowson today.
02:03It's a back garden patio area, like brick paving.
02:06It hasn't been cleaned in quite a while,
02:08so hopefully the transformation is going to be really, really good.
02:12As everything's well fancy in Essex,
02:14the driveways are probably pristine and amanti-studded,
02:18which is a shame as I love a bit of filth.
02:21Oh, hang on a minute.
02:24That's hanging.
02:27A forest of weeds has wankled its way in.
02:30Debris and dust mean this is a disaster.
02:35As you can see, there's loads of stuff everywhere.
02:37You've got barbecues.
02:38You've got the fence posts.
02:39They're all going to have to come out.
02:40Once everything's been removed from the garden,
02:42we'll start to clean.
02:43So we'll start ripping out all the weeds,
02:45and then we'll start blasting away all the moss.
02:48And if you're growing, basically, as you can see here,
02:50they're all growing out quite thick.
02:52All of these, they should come out quite nicely,
02:55but I'm scared they're quite embedded in the ground,
02:57so hopefully we'll get all the big weeds out first
03:00and then we'll just blast away all the moss.
03:02It's time to wrangle some weeds.
03:07Oh, hi, everyone.
03:09Suddenly, a small army of grind fighters are on Operation Clearout.
03:13So we've just removed all the rubbish,
03:19all these fence panels that are on the floor,
03:21the barbecue's been removed,
03:23all the big weeds have been pulled up.
03:25It was hard work, I'm not going to lie.
03:27Hard work to do, but unadulterated pleasure to watch.
03:31Now he's top to toe in the finest neon.
03:35It's time to ogle a nifty nozzle.
03:40Swirling water sees off scum
03:42and turns mud into magnificent.
03:45Ooh, hello.
03:57Where have you been hiding all my life?
04:00OK, so we're all finished with the clean now.
04:19Everything's gone.
04:21So all I've got to do now is spray these,
04:24we heal up by side all over it to prevent any more growth.
04:28A foamy, potent, weed-deterring chemical?
04:35Take that, Solid Stones!
04:46Finally, a good old sweeping of sand helps smooth the surface.
04:51And he's done it!
04:53I must be really happy with the result.
04:55I think it's gone really well.
04:57The customer seems really happy.
04:59And, yeah, I think I'm really happy.
05:02It's quite great, great result.
05:04Add a little tenderness to a wild and weedy wilderness
05:08and clean patios are possible.
05:12Wait a minute, who says that?
05:14Oh, never mind.
05:16And now, if power washing gives you pleasure, hold tight.
05:22I can't figure out if I prefer it
05:24when the mud sort of slushes off like this one
05:27or it's blasted off like this one.
05:29We should watch some of the best clips on social media
05:33to help me make up my mind.
05:35Who doesn't love a hose down?
05:38Grime and grot, that's who.
05:40Here's some being nuked by its nemesis.
05:44Traffic and pollution is bad for sure,
05:46but it does give us some really dirty pavements,
05:50which gives us this.
05:52Yum!
05:53Introducing a little pink snake of cleanliness.
05:56Look at that colour difference.
05:59A contrast of kings.
06:02Next, this marvellous mucky paving stone,
06:06so sodden and then made stunning by a jet steam.
06:13Whether you're a weekend warrior or a power washing pro,
06:17here's to your steaming successes.
06:21Next, we're about to dive into the work of a pro cleaner
06:33who's a full-on celeb if you're a fan of cleaning videos.
06:37And let's face it, who isn't?
06:39Miles here is pretty popular online.
06:43Unbelievably, his TikTok's got more than 12 million subscribers.
06:49Nice job done.
06:50Get off your phone and stop that dog drinking the pool water.
06:53He's the Kim Kardashian of TikTok.
06:56Except with a very different kind of backyard.
06:59To reveal what life's really like for an actual internet sensation,
07:03we're filming him and brother-in-law, Ollie.
07:07They're camera-ready in Hertfordshire.
07:10And heading to their first job.
07:13So, first job today, then.
07:15Yeah, shot up all down last year, September time.
07:18I haven't been back since.
07:20No.
07:21So, I've been running.
07:22Come back.
07:24Hoover it.
07:25Job done.
07:26Ready for summer.
07:29Sounds like a plan.
07:31All in a day's work for these pool protectors.
07:34But I'm pumped.
07:36This pool's been left to fester since last summer.
07:42What do you reckon?
07:44Should we have a bet?
07:45Green or not green?
07:46I'm going for green.
07:47I'm going green.
07:48Oh.
07:49No.
07:51It's almost black.
07:52Algae has attacked.
07:56It's enough to give you a sinking feeling.
08:00So much green ick.
08:02It's in at the deep end for these guys.
08:07You going swimming, yeah?
08:08Yeah, this should brush off nicely.
08:11Get some chlorine then.
08:13We'll be good.
08:14To be honest with you, this is pretty much what we deal with all the time when opening pools,
08:20if they haven't looked after them during the winter.
08:22So, it looks bad and people think, you know, like how the hell am I going to get this sorted?
08:27But, yeah, we'll get it done.
08:30Yes, my alls.
08:31When you're that voracious, no wonder your content goes viral.
08:35I was posting some videos, just normal ones, just regular day-to-day live sort of stuff.
08:40And then one day I posted about, like, my job doing a swimming pool that was green.
08:45Yeah, not looking too good.
08:47Started the process of getting it ready for the summer.
08:51Done a voice over on it and posted it on social media and then literally just blew up straight away.
08:56And my phone was just going crazy, messages coming in.
08:59And I was just like, what is going on?
09:01And the video got up to, like, a million views within the first two days.
09:05And then every video I posted after that done really well.
09:08The highest views I've got is around 150 million on one video, which is just insane.
09:14Most of those weren't me, to be fair.
09:17These days, Miles has miles of footage on social media.
09:21Let's just do a quick dirty check and just see our weight actually perfectly clean.
09:25Every time the scum succumbs and a pool totally transforms.
09:31Looking a hundred times better.
09:34An army of dirt-destroying devotees delight.
09:38Oh, God! What is that?
09:45Has someone been eating chicken madras in the shallow end?
09:53Right, back to today's sorry task.
09:55Next, it's time for the old, eye-stinging chemical of our childhoods.
10:01Calcium hypochlorite.
10:02So, the shock is what I'm going to use to kill off all the algae.
10:07It's just a really concentrated level of chlorine.
10:10It clears the water.
10:11Chlorine, a.k.a. the shock, sends shockwaves through the murky water, killing off growth and grime.
10:20Bye-bye algae!
10:21Don't forget to send us a postcard from hell!
10:32Quite tough on the surface, actually, isn't it?
10:38Yeah.
10:40Very easy.
10:41You've got to get your back into it, mate.
10:42It's quite tiring, actually.
10:44This is why you don't brush pools.
10:46Why?
10:47Because it's hard work.
10:48I'm too unfit.
10:49I just do the clever stuff, you do this.
10:52This is your calling in life.
10:54You both love it, but not as much as I do.
11:04See this gross green become sparkling clean later.
11:13Coming up, things get stuck in places you don't want things stuck.
11:18I'm going to blow myself off because sand gets absolutely everywhere.
11:24And computer gremlins of the germ kind are seen off in style.
11:29Check out all this dust.
11:31This is a bit worse than I thought.
11:33This is quite serious.
11:43Welcome back to this celebration of Cleaning Conquests.
11:47Next, we're in Wakefield.
11:49It's got a cathedral, a prison, it's got Jane MacDonald,
11:53and it's got some very rusty machines just waiting to get blasted.
11:59We've sought out a seriously powerful industrial cleaner.
12:03What makes Mick here tick is only sandblasting.
12:08It just gets you. It gets you, but you get hooked.
12:10I don't know why, but I'm up to it.
12:12I'll get that blast in a bug.
12:14That bug, I just want to carry on doing it.
12:16I don't know why.
12:18Hey, so today you joined me on a journey to do a forklift truck,
12:22sandblasting a forklift truck.
12:24Wheels on it are as tall as me, so that gives you an idea
12:27on what size it is.
12:30Time to tackle this monster vehicle.
12:33We've got this big beast to do.
12:42I think it's some sort of American-style forklift.
12:47There's peeling paint and rust and layers of dust.
12:52It's a forklift festooned with filth.
12:57Ew-wee!
12:59Thankfully, Mick's known for working magic.
13:03We've got to take paint off it and rust scabs,
13:05that's what we're doing today,
13:06so we'll just have a quick scout round it.
13:10This is the sort of stuff that we're going to be...
13:12where it's going to be coming into its own with.
13:14Can you see this flaky, rusty paint?
13:17Hopefully we'll be able to take all that back to...
13:19and these scabs here.
13:21Right, let's get some gear out and make a start.
13:26The manky machine is about to get it.
13:30This is main air feed tip, glass pot.
13:33This is what carries our air tip machine
13:35and then machine mixes it with sand.
13:38Well, glass media.
13:40Mick calls his weapon of choice sand,
13:42but it's actually crushed glass.
13:45Brutal!
13:46I don't want to be breathing that dust in if I can help it.
13:48This connects to my helmet.
13:50I've got an air-fed mask.
13:52Buckle up.
13:53It's time for blast off.
13:55There's still been some gear into the pot.
13:58I'll put three of these in.
14:02It's just getting around about an hour's worth of blasting.
14:06Oh, you tease.
14:07I'm ready, Mick.
14:09Wreck that rust.
14:10Off you pop rust, you crusty menace.
14:19More majestic manhandling of this muck later.
14:24Next, we're back in Hertfordshire,
14:25where two pro pool cleaners are mid-massive mission to degreen slime this swimming pool.
14:39Miles regularly films his work for social media, and it makes quite the splash.
14:56The dirtiest job I've ever done, actually, was pretty recent.
15:02The pool hadn't been used for, like, 15 years, apparently.
15:06They weren't sure on how long, but they reckon around 15 years, and it was, the water was pretty much black.
15:16It's not looking good.
15:17The walls aren't supposed to be black.
15:19I don't think, anyway.
15:20But we saw it as a bit of a challenge.
15:23Had to get it done.
15:24Got some content out of it.
15:25And there was just thick sludge in the bottom of the pool, like six inches.
15:30So that made it really difficult to fully empty the pool.
15:34It's a bit sludgy, yeah.
15:36We've got some sludge pumps.
15:38Love me a sludge pump.
15:40Wheelbarrow shovels, buckets.
15:42Got it cleaned up pretty well.
15:43Back to what it used to look like.
15:45Filled up, and, uh, that was job done.
15:50Nice job done.
15:53I think what I love most about the job is, during the summer, nice, hot weather, working around the pool, cleaning the pool.
16:00It's just quite relaxing.
16:01You just love working with me?
16:03No, I don't like working with me.
16:05It's good weather.
16:07Tunes are on.
16:08If you've got someone helping you, you're having a laugh in the van, it's good.
16:11And you're getting paid.
16:12You're getting paid.
16:13Now, back to today's filth-filled fiasco.
16:16And it's time to reveal the transformation 48 hours of chlorine can bring.
16:22Wow.
16:24Much better than, uh, the other day, anyway.
16:27Pretty good.
16:28No more green goo.
16:29It's blooming beautiful blue.
16:32A few leaves floating around on top, but it's clear.
16:34And as you can see, the algae's mostly settled on the bottom of the pool.
16:38Lovely.
16:40Oh, we've got a little friend.
16:41Oh.
16:42We've got an early swimmer.
16:43Get him out, then.
16:44I'll rescue him out.
16:46Oh.
16:47He's one of the fast ones.
16:48Set him free.
16:49Just go and put him out of the way of the pool, so he don't go back.
16:51While Miles sees the pool invader hop off, Ollie's seeing off those surface leaves.
16:57Ollie fancies a bit of netting now.
16:59Is this how I do it, Master?
17:01Just sitting and watching me.
17:03That's what he normally does.
17:05Give it a rest.
17:07I'm the king of the netting.
17:09And now for the bit we've all been waiting for.
17:13This is my pump.
17:14It's an absolute beast.
17:16This powerful pump attaches to a sludge vacuum.
17:21High time this slime was sucked up and shipped out.
17:26That's the ticket.
17:28Just right a bit.
17:30Oh, yes.
17:32When a job goes well, the mess on the bottom of the pool comes up nice and easy.
17:37That's what I find satisfying.
17:39Then I'm a happy man.
17:41These hoover manoeuvres improve us the pool.
17:46Is poet laureate still a thing?
17:49Asking for a friend.
17:51This is all the dead algae.
17:53Looks like cotton wool.
17:55Obviously there's leaves in the pool, so...
17:58The ones that get vacked up come into the basket in here.
18:08Lovely.
18:10Home stretch.
18:12Home stretch.
18:13So I'll look in the shades.
18:15Terrible.
18:17Nice and clean, but it's only 90% there clarity wise.
18:20So what I'm going to do is put some water clarifier in.
18:23So basically, these little tablets, it's going to make the water nice and clear.
18:27I'll just drop one in the skimmer basket.
18:29And then it'll dissolve slowly and what it does is put like a little layer over sand in the filter.
18:37And it helps catch all the smaller particles that are floating around, making them pool cloudy.
18:41So we'll catch them and we'll come back and what will be 100% then.
18:4824 hours later and as if by magic.
18:53It's more like it.
18:55It certainly is more like it.
18:57100% clear now.
18:59See the bottom nicely.
19:00The final slurp up of lingering sludge.
19:04I like it a lot.
19:06And they're done.
19:12Grain to cling.
19:14From a murky pool of misfortune.
19:17To a clearly tantalising triumph.
19:22Nice one boys.
19:24And now it's time for another gaggle of grubby videos we've gathered from the internet.
19:31Millennials.
19:33With all computers, we tapped away on the typewriter.
19:36If you have such a relic.
19:38A spray with all purpose cleaner and a brush at the rust.
19:42And you'll still prefer your laptop.
19:51This early computer has crawled out of the bog it's been hiding in.
19:55And Bill Gates has been sick on it.
19:58Twice.
19:59How's that for a reboot?
20:06Here's a treat for ya.
20:14After a pottery throw down, some lucky person gets to scrape the clay up.
20:19I like it.
20:21Bet she only makes jackpots.
20:27Next, another one fights the dust.
20:30Computers have changed our lives.
20:32And they've done it by sucking our skin into their microprocessors through massive fans.
20:39Don't believe me?
20:41Look at all this dust.
20:45Vera and Richard of Computer Genie could be just the diligent duo you need.
20:51Today, we have a computer from Kevin.
20:54Who's a gamer.
20:55So that probably never gets turned off.
20:58Let's see how dusty it is inside.
21:01The computer-owning gamer is keen that the game's finally up for all this grot.
21:09Ready to take a look inside?
21:11Let's take a look.
21:13First, we need to take the front cover.
21:16Check out all this dust.
21:18This is a bit worse than I thought.
21:21This is quite serious.
21:23So, are you ready to clean this?
21:25Let's get started.
21:26Yeah.
21:27So good.
21:35So good.
21:37I want the dust in here.
21:39And now the fun starts.
21:41We're going to use a hoover and some brushes.
21:45Let's begin.
21:47Before the cleaning kicks off and before the tiny computer elves start making snow angels in there,
21:53all that dust needs to be sucked out.
22:03Now we can start taking it apart and clean one bit by bit.
22:08The battle against bacteria build-up is won with some punchy products and a poke around in every crusty crevice.
22:31So what are we doing now?
22:34So as you can see, the front cover is still dusty.
22:41So we're going to clean it using water and good old toothbrush.
22:48That's a computer hack I can get on board with.
22:52Now that we have all the parts cleaned, we have to put it together.
22:57Let's build a computer.
22:58Let's build a computer.
23:08Now, last few touches.
23:11After a final flourish, what was once a manky machine has been totally transformed.
23:19Time to press return to sender.
23:23So that's it.
23:25Another computer down.
23:27Another happy customer.
23:29And a computer that looks like new.
23:32Well done.
23:34Well done, D.
23:36Coming up, it's mothballs at dawn for these carpet crusaders.
23:41Oh my God, we are going to take care of everything today.
23:45Mothfree.
23:46We are getting ready for this war.
23:49And a cleaner with sky-high ambitions takes on a gigantic task.
23:53Normally, when people call us, it's for things like, can you clean our seats?
23:57We don't normally get, can you clean our aircraft?
23:59Welcome back to this filth-fighting fiesta.
24:12We're back in Wakefield where tiny particles of glass are being blasted onto a giant forklift.
24:21They blitz and buffer off old paint and general grime, revealing the most magnificent metal.
24:27Time for a break. A little brew, treacle.
24:39I'm impressed with it like. I'm happy with our cricket's coming off.
24:45Not much time for tea when that wrong and rust has gate-crashed a party with his mates, old paint and crud.
24:52Get out of it.
24:53Mick's chosen to go bare-handed for this bit, but frankly, that's not recommended.
25:02I think that's it for today.
25:05Just before I shut the machine down, I'm going to blow myself off because, I don't know if you can see it, but sand gets absolutely everywhere and it's in places you wouldn't imagine.
25:19The cracks in your arms, under your arms, and there's places where you just don't want to mention. But yeah, I'm going to get it blown off so I can sit in the van and drive home in peace without it rubbing me, sanding me, exfoliating me behind on my drive home.
25:37OK, OK, OK, TMI, this is a family show.
25:56Once a full-on forklift besieged by rust and grime, Mick's got it looking brand new in no time. We're grateful for the chafing, sir. We salute you.
26:11Next, we're in London's Bermondsey to join two connoisseurs of cleaning carpets. Paul, owner of Forever Ready Cleaning, and mate Kyle take tackling honking jobs very seriously.
26:30Told them the joke about the horse walking into the pub while we took this shot and nothing.
26:36We have got moth infestation. We are ready for them. We are fighting the moth. We're killing them. We're cleaning the carpet.
26:42And we're going to leave this place speak and span. Shiny brand spanking new.
26:48Yep, this tenant spent years unwillingly mixing with moths and trotting around on a carpet that totally needs cleaning.
26:57Layers of larvae cover an already crud-covered carpet.
27:03Moth eggs on toast, anyone? Sorry, I don't know why I said that.
27:09Basically, it's a breeding ground for blimmin' loads of them, and it's time they got out of our faces.
27:17I know the moth is killed right now because they know we are here. I just know it.
27:21You can hear us. You can hear us.
27:22Famous moth killer. This doesn't respect moth. Moth respect it, so...
27:27That's right.
27:29And, oh, my God, we are going to take care of everything today.
27:32Moth-free. Moth-free.
27:34We are here getting ready for this war.
27:39Hey, moths, I hope you like death because that's all Paul and Kyle have got planned for you today.
27:45These are moth droppings, like the shed things, like maybe off the wings and off the body.
27:52So we are going to uvo it up, get rid of that, and we are going to start all the process.
27:57Pesky moths chomp through carpet and clothes causing chaos, but their time is up.
28:04Once a vacuum sucked up some of them, bring on the bug spray.
28:09Right now, I'm just going to put the chemical on to kill...
28:14What's left?
28:15To kill anything that's left.
28:17It's totally annihilator.
28:20Yeah.
28:25Look at that.
28:27It's trying to escape.
28:28Yeah, that's one of them.
28:31Fly away.
28:32Tell all your friends what's coming to them.
28:35So, this is the big guns.
28:38This gets everything out the carpet.
28:40Nothing stays.
28:42Nothing survives.
28:44Nothing survives?
28:46Things are getting serious.
28:48They call this machine the big boy.
28:52So with these, the water comes through here, down this hose, with the carpet.
28:58Then these suctions...
29:01..sucks the water right back up again.
29:03Washing and shampooing.
29:05Just like in the bath.
29:10As it sucks the hot water and cleaning solution it's blasted out back up,
29:15it takes the moth party no-one wanted to be at with it.
29:19Any insect that lived before now will never live through this.
29:29They are all going straight in that machine in the way.
29:32All gone.
29:34This customer will be moth-free.
29:38Guaranteed.
29:39Look at that.
29:40It's literally all the moth eggs sitting right on the top floating there for you.
29:50Gross, isn't it?
29:52I'm here for it, Kyle.
29:55Like a moth to a flame.
29:57Later, these filth-fighting fiends totally transform this cruddy carpet.
30:02Next, another buffet of brilliant cleans brought to you by some of the muckiest parts of the internet.
30:12So keep watching.
30:14Let the kids pick themselves up from swimming for once.
30:17You know lasers? Who doesn't?
30:19But did you know they're used to spruce up manky metal?
30:22Yep, it vaporises bits of clinging on gunk.
30:27Go, go, gadget beam!
30:32Many plucky peeps find their inner Obi-Wan while pimping up sullied steel
30:37and masterfully making metals great again.
30:52Strike me down and I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine!
31:04Said some rust.
31:06And the rust was wrong.
31:11Next, another pro cleaner with a camera's been filming some filthy footage just for us.
31:17David here of VIP Detail has a huge YouTube following where fellow devotees of dirt-destroying
31:26watching clean vehicles from the fanciest of cars to the grottiest tractor.
31:31Today, expectations are sky-high.
31:34He's at Gatwick's Aviation Museum to pretty up this plane.
31:39We've got a massive challenge ahead of us today because normally when people call us
31:43it's for things like, can you clean our seats or can you polish our car?
31:45We don't normally get, can you clean our aircraft?
31:51David's formed a dirt-busting dream team by roping in Dad Anthony and Uncle Chris.
31:57Oh my goodness, look at the size of this.
32:00He said it was a small plane, Tom.
32:02Good grief.
32:04No job too big, no aircraft too mucky.
32:06This beautiful beast works in maritime patrol for the Royal Air Force.
32:12But today's the day. It finally meets its match.
32:16There's a caked-on carpet of unwelcome grime.
32:20And it's plain to see David's ready to pounce.
32:23This is a side that is going to cause so many problems for us because it's in the shade all the time.
32:30So we're going to have loads of mould to deal with.
32:32So if you follow me, as you can see here, the mould is horrendous.
32:39We're going to have a real tough time working on this.
32:43We did a test panel the other day though.
32:45So as you can see here, it doesn't look too bad.
32:48But another thing, we have to be very careful because all the paint is flaking off as well.
32:53The old girl better be ready.
32:56There's an army of courageous cleaners incoming.
32:59To me, to you, to me.
33:02Dad, you're steering. We've got to go there at the back.
33:09Here goes nothing. Wish me luck.
33:11This is terrifying up here.
33:13That is proper sketchy.
33:15What I mean to say is nothing's going to go wrong.
33:19It's safe.
33:21If I die, I've got no money to give anybody.
33:26Don't worry, David.
33:27The way you work a cleaning product will not be forgotten.
33:41Watch this.
33:43There we go.
33:45Foam! Glorious foam!
33:47I didn't mean to do that.
33:48Oh my God, that bloke's going to be sparkling.
34:01That is so satisfying.
34:03This is very terrifying up here, but we're doing it. We're getting bits of foam on at a time, but we're having good fun.
34:17Yeah, it's pretty good at the wall.
34:19As you can tell, it's a bit wobbly up here, but we're safe. We're safe. Don't worry.
34:23Following all that foam is a good old-fashioned scrub.
34:27That should do it. Look at that. Using my favourite giant toothbrush. They're brilliant.
34:39I look like I'm about to take that concert. They wave lighters in the air, or their phones.
34:53FYI, if you take a brush and a gallon of snow foam to a take-back gig, it's an instant arrest.
35:00Trust me, I found out the hard way.
35:03More high-flying slime seeing off later.
35:08Coming up, a meticulous pro cleaner tells the dirt on this dude to get stuffed.
35:14He is looking a little bit worse for wear blessing, but he will look better, I promise.
35:27Welcome back to this cacophony of cleaning triumphs.
35:32David, a professional saboteur of slime and grot, has been showing a massive plain what's what.
35:38I'm using a citrus pre-wash just to try and speed up the process of breaking down all this mould.
35:45Because the snow foam's good, but it's not quite doing it quick enough.
35:50I wish I'd done this to begin with, actually.
35:53Oh, do you know what? I could put it in a pump sprayer and go round the whole thing.
35:58I might even do that.
36:00Do it, David.
36:08Oh, my goodness, that is coming right off.
36:15Wow.
36:17We did have a system in place where we were going to just do the bodywork first,
36:22but now it's got to the point because this thing is so annoying to move.
36:27We're basically winging it.
36:29Pardon the pun.
36:31Consider yourself pardoned.
36:34A final rinse down and they're done.
36:39I can't believe we managed to pull it off in a whole day.
36:41That's three of us doing it.
36:43So next time someone says,
36:45it's taken me a whole day to clean my car, rubbish.
36:47We've done an aeroplane.
36:49There are three of you, though.
36:51Once this plane was so torrid, things looked terminal.
36:55Holy moly. Look at that.
37:01Now it's pretty fly.
37:05Next, we're back in London's Bermondsey,
37:11where two fearless carpet cleaners have been fighting a moth infestation.
37:16The winged invaders and their eggs now sucked up,
37:20it's time to make this still-minging floor magnificent.
37:23Or just something that doesn't make your toes curl.
37:27Serious stainage in the bedroom means it's time for the stain slasher.
37:32This is called a rotary carpet cleaner.
37:37No, Paul. It's a stain slasher.
37:40Do keep up.
37:41I'm going to wet it with the machine, with the pump,
37:44and I'm going to use a rotary to clean first.
37:47So it's like washing your clothes and drying it.
37:51Cleaning solution sloshed on,
37:55this beast scrubs at stubborn stains with rotating brushes,
38:00forcing them free.
38:01Now I've washed the carpet, so now it's marinating.
38:11Just like when you season your meat, it's marinating now.
38:14This is my pride and joy.
38:16I love cleaning.
38:18I love seeing things dirty.
38:20And I do something, and it's clean.
38:23That's me, man. I will never change.
38:24I'm with you, Paul.
38:28Fans of seeing off scum unite.
38:34That's chewing gum.
38:36Paul, chewing gum.
38:38Have you got that brush of the chewing gum remover?
38:40Hey, listen up. We might learn something.
38:42When the chewing gum has been embedded for a couple of years,
38:44it makes it a nightmare almost to get it up.
38:48Well, literally, it should do it.
38:50Hot water and this chemical.
38:52It should do it.
38:55This magical chemical freezes gum, making it easy to pick off.
39:02Sticky situation over, that just leaves sucking up the solution
39:06before it's back to spanking new looking.
39:16We are actually doing the environment a favour.
39:19Because they should be thrown away.
39:21So we are actually saving the environment by not having no waste.
39:26Like, throwing away this carpet.
39:28So, you know?
39:30It's a beautiful thing, man.
39:32You are a beautiful thing.
39:34The way you work those corners.
39:37Jeez!
39:43Well done. Work well done.
39:45It worked well done.
39:46Exactly.
39:47Look at the difference.
39:48Look at the difference, literally.
39:50Smelling nice.
39:51All moths are dead.
39:53Seeing what we achieved, that satisfies me and I know it satisfies Paul.
39:57Yes, it does. It really does.
40:00Job done.
40:01From a crusty, moth-covered calamity.
40:05To cleverly cleaned by this dream team.
40:11Oh, I'd walk on that with no shoes on.
40:14Once. For money.
40:16He's happy. We are happy.
40:18You will be happy.
40:20Everyone is happy.
40:21Brilliant.
40:22Next, more offerings from the internet to satisfy our cravings for cleaning videos.
40:31This time, it's bathrooms made beautiful.
40:36Take one scummy shower head.
40:38Ew.
40:40Why are the yellow holes giving me the ick?
40:43More than that lime scale.
40:45Oh my god, they're like that dream I had about the spider with a thousand eyes.
40:49Anyway, a soak in vinegar can sort you out.
40:52Next.
40:54Okay, this is worse.
40:57It's the bathroom that cleaning forgot.
41:00Nobody loved it and it got grotty.
41:03Unbelievably minging and sad.
41:05Salvation arrived and scraped off the scum.
41:09The mank was mopped and a million wipes saw it right.
41:13That is some shower room sorcery.
41:19One fun fact is that flushing the loo can propel germs six feet across a bathroom.
41:26Never yawn until the flush is finished.
41:29As my grandfather used to say.
41:31Next, another pro cleaner who's been filming their work just for us.
41:37Charlotte, of Leaf Toy Hospital in Edinburgh, repairs a lot of bears.
41:41She's also a fur-midable destroyer of dirt.
41:46So today I'm going to be cleaning this lovely little dog here.
41:51This pup's covered in yuck.
41:54Years of cuddles means it's caked in grime and looking well past its prime.
42:08Step one, he's gutted.
42:10It's called Woodball and it's actually really, really, really fine shavings of wood.
42:15Poor wee guy is going to look very floppy when we've got all this stuffing out.
42:20So there he is. He doesn't really look much like a dog anymore.
42:26But, erm, with most of his stuffing removed now we can get started to cleaning him.
42:33So this is just any household steamer that you can get.
42:36Got a little sock on the end here.
42:39And then when you steam...
42:41It seems he's out.
42:43My dog makes that noise when he eats mango chutney.
42:45So you can originally start to see, start to get deposits of dirt on the sock here.
42:57After he's steaming, he's still not yet gleaming.
43:03So it's time for a wash and a scrub.
43:06So one of the things that I often start off with is baby shampoo.
43:10It's very gentle so you're not worried that you're going to damage or dry out the hair too much.
43:15That's the ticket. A gentle tickle off with a toothbrush is totally what it needs.
43:23He is looking a little bit worse for wear blessing, but he will look better, I promise, once he's all nice and dry.
43:30After a weekend hanging out, missing all his innards, no doubt, it's time for the moment of truth.
43:38A lot of the kind of really, really dark black bits that were all over him, they've all gone.
43:42Some parts of him have come off actually surprisingly clean.
43:45Underneath of him is actually, you've almost got some bits of very, very white here.
43:49The other thing I would say is he is just so soft and he's got like a really lovely, like shiny sheen to him now.
43:56She's doggedly destroyed that dirt.
43:59So now I'm going to start re-stuffing him and then he should be looking a lot more like a toy dog.
44:06It's a toy transforming triumph.
44:12Once a mucky pup, it's now pristine.
44:17Good luck growing some ears mate.
44:20Join us next time for lots more amazing cleans.
44:25As a plane is polished to perfection.
44:27The whole seven years I've never seen anything this bad.
44:30This is well dodged.
44:32Birmingham's finest roll out their secret weapon.
44:35Watch your faces.
44:37Where there's money.
44:39And we've got a filthy, freaky girl that will haunt your dreams.
44:44Your dreams.
44:46I promise you she's okay.
44:50Brand new amazing cleans continues next Monday at 8.
44:53Tonight at 10.
44:54If Lola and Chelsea thought they'd seen the last of corrupt cop Ray, they'd be very wrong.
44:59The drama continues in Brand New Wanted, but the clean-up operation continues next with Nick Knowles' Big House Clearout.
45:07We'll be back in here and we'll find out what's going on in here and what's going on in here and what's going on in here.
45:12The future is going to be a bit像 and that's going to be a bit像.
45:13Morning Trainer out.
45:19The important part is to reach out to us but not to be the world of the world and the world of the world itself.
45:23The future is going to be around.
