00:20Balita ko, at a very young age, you're already exposed to business.
00:25Ano po ba yung unang business ninyo?
00:26Ang business ng mother ko noon is printing, sa printing industry kami.
00:32So, elementary days ko pa lang, yan na yung tinatrabaho namin.
00:37Nag-gather, tumutulong ako sa office.
00:41So, kinalakihan ko yun until college and even after college.
00:45So, what made you decide to enter food business?
00:47Merong may birthday na rotarian.
00:49May nagpaluto.
00:50Yes, ano.
00:51I was a rotarian before.
00:53Nagdala ko ng food.
00:56Then, dinala ko noon yung ginataang kuhol.
01:00And, nagtanong sila kung paano mag-order noon.
01:04Sabi ko, hindi ako nagpapa-order.
01:05It was just a gift for my friend.
01:09And then, hindi, u-order kami.
01:11So, it started there.
01:12It started lang sa simpleng natikman nila.
01:14Out of your passion.
01:16And of course, nagregalo lang tayo sa friend.
01:18Tapos, biglang lumaki na ng lumaki.
01:20Hindi ba mahirap yung struggle and challenges?
01:23Lalo na pagsabay-sabay din po yung mga orders ninyo?
01:26Mahirap in terms kapag yung nagsabay-sabay talaga.
01:29Minsan kasi meron talaga kami from, well, midnight hanggang buong araw nagduluto kami.
01:36Mahirap.
01:37So, ang ginawa ko na lang, sila yung, yung mga helper ko, sila yung preparation.
01:43So, yung hiwa-hiwa sila yan.
01:46But when it comes to yung paglalagay ng mga seasonings, yung ingredients, pagsasama-sama,
01:52and yung food tasting noon, ako, ako yung last.
01:55So, Ms. Joanne, what advice naman can you give doon sa mga gusto rin mag-start up ng food tray business?
02:01Pinaka-goal ko pag nagluluto ko is, iniisip ko lagi na itong niluluto ko, ipapakain ko sa pamilya ko.
02:08So, pag yun ang nasa isip ko, hindi ko ko siya hahayaan na hindi lang, parang so-so lang yung lasa niya.
02:15I make it sure na malasa siya, masarap siya, dahil pamilya ko yung kakain.
02:20So, kung customer kita, pamilya ang turing ko sa'yo.
02:24In terms of capital, para sa mga gusto rin mag-start up ng food tray business, what advice can you give to them?
02:29Actually, hindi naman din malaki yung investment ko at nung nag-start ako, it was just like, parang 600 pesos lang yung store.
02:36Wow, 600 pesos, tapos napalaguna po natin yun.
02:39Yes, so, whether maliit na capital yan or malaki, malayo ba yung mararating yan.
02:46Alright, Ms. Joanne, bakit ba importante yung mag-negosyo ang bawat mamamayang Pilipino?
02:50Kasi sa akin, yung flexibility ng time, hawa ko yung time, plus syempre yung income, mas malaki yung income.
02:58Kesa na magiging employee ka lang, mas maigi yung may sarili, yes.
