00:00Another unique and inspiring story na naman po ang inyong matutong hayan ngayong umaga,
00:04hatin namin sa Negosyo Tayo. Panoorin po natin ito.
00:14Pwentohan mo kami, paano ka ba napasok sa pagnirigosyo?
00:18So, nagtrabaho ako, pero little by little nagtatabi ako ng pera.
00:2220% of my paycheck. So, nag-asawa ako, lumaki ang pangailangan,
00:26sabi ko, bakit hindi tayo mag-franchise?
00:28So, nag-franchise kami. At after learning the ropes of the business,
00:33nagsasarili kami. Gumawa kami ng sarili naming ko-concept.
00:36During the pandemic, Sir Bong, it was really a hard hit for most of the businesses.
00:40Papaano po yung naging navigation niyo during that time?
00:44Well, yun nga, yung core ng business namin, corn cards.
00:47Umabot ng 200 outlets yun all over the country.
00:49Nagkaroon pa yun sa Melbourne, Australia.
00:51Pero nandumating yung pandemic, practically, totally wipe out.
00:57Sabi ko, mag-bake na lang tayo. It so happened na yung asawa ko, baker,
01:02wala kaming market noon. So, dinistribute namin sa mga frontliners, mga police, nurses.
01:07So, parang sila yung first-hand, parang nag-taste test kayo.
01:11Kumbaga, parang yun yung way nyo din.
01:13But in a way, it's also your advocacy to help during the pandemic.
01:17Correct. Tama.
01:17So, you started one branch pa lang?
01:19Yes.
01:20But now, how many branches do you have?
01:22We have 20 and we have 5 in Malaysia.
01:27Do you have any unforgettable moment, Sir Bong, while building the business?
01:32Kahit naman matagal ka na nag-denegosyo, mahirap pa rin magsimula.
01:35You know, to start from the beginning.
01:38So, yung developmental ko, yung parang learning curve,
01:42na paano namin ito i-deliver sa mga branches,
01:46paano namin magiging consistent ang quality all throughout.
01:50We want to know, do you have any tips or advice as a mentor of GoNegosyo
01:55to those people who are aspiring to enter business as well?
01:58Yes. Kasi ang ordinary negosyante, alam mo,
02:02buy and sell, produce and sell, create and sell.
02:05Sometimes they forget the most important component of doing a business,
02:10which is branding.
02:10Ito mga bagay na ito, tinuturo namin sa mga malilita na negosyante
02:15na dapat meron kayong brand name.
02:18One is dahil ito ay nagbibigay recognition sa inyong brand,
02:23nagbibigay ng value, ng halaga,
02:25nagbibigay ng competitive advantage o kakaiba.
02:28At higit sa lahat, loyalty, nagiging loyal ang mga customers
02:33sa inyong produkto o servisyo.
02:35Sir Bong, bakit kailangan pumasok ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino sa pagginigosyo?
02:41For centuries, I think we've become alos mendicants.
02:46Nagpapadala tayo ng mga seaman sa abroad, doctors, etc.
02:50Siguro, isang pagkakataon na ito na ilagay natin ang kinabukasan
02:55sa sarili nating kamay.
02:56Hindi na sa kamay ng ibang company malalaki.
03:00Because 99% ng lahat ng negosyo sa Pilipinas ay maliliit na negosyante.
03:06So, importanteng-importante tayo maging negosyante
03:10upang tayo magdidikta ng ating sariling kinabukasan.
03:14Hindi ka lang dapat nangangarap.
03:18Dapat ay pinagtatrabahuhan mo rin para ma-reach mo ang iyong goals.
03:22Yan po ay pinakita sa atin ang business owner na si Bong Magpayo.
