It will be a rather cloudy morning for much of UK, although the occasional break allowing for some bright sunshine. Some showers will drift slowly northwards across northern England and Scotland as well as over southern and central Wales, but these will mostly dissipate as we move into the afternoon. Some showery bursts will also arrive in western Northern Ireland by early afternoon.
