00:10top of the show nick kurtz caglione finally starting to pick it up again right kurtz especially

00:15just been out of this world you can see the confidence just oozing from this kid all these

00:19walk-off home runs that he's had bat flipping like he just looks like the nick kurtz that i saw

00:23on tape last year coming into the draft and the guy that i saw the minor leagues on tape

00:27and all the highlights so finally we're getting that guy but again these are not building block

00:31guys some of them brady house for instance is a guy you want to stash and see what becomes of him

00:36he has gotten the call here for the washington nationals he was slashing 375 426 25 at triple

00:43a rochester that's pretty good he had 15 straight games with a hit there that's pretty good now he's

00:49gotten the call he's rostered in about 30 of leagues right now on cbs so far he's got five hits in six

00:55games he's hitting just 217 but again we give him time this is about acquiring talent acquiring assets

01:00and then seeing how these guys eventually develop at the major league level it takes some time

01:04sometimes it never happens they get sent back down and they come back and then it happens a second time

01:08sometimes it just never happens at all so when a guy like christian campbell per se gets dropped

01:14in your league because well he got sent down that's when you pick him up because inevitably a guy like

01:20christian campbell who they've already paid and extended always follow the money boys and girls

01:25they've already paid and extended they believe in him he's going to go back to triple a he's probably

01:30going to tear the cover off the ball for two or three weeks maybe even through the also where he

01:34can get called up again he will be back okay and he'll probably be better than ever when he does get

01:38called back so be aggressive on these rookies but understand that they're not guys you throw right

01:43into your lineup right away they can't have that you have to sustain on the veterans and those are the

01:48guys that nourish your lineup these other guys are like the cherry on top of the sundae who take you

01:53over the top and house could be one of those guys i think the gnats are interested to see and they will

01:58give him a long time because the gnats are not competing this year they want to evaluate all the

02:03kids for better or worse so house is the next one they're going to evaluate
