00:00Lisa, I want to talk to you about a pop culture phenomenon known as Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie.
00:06How did having that movie, which was a huge gamble for Mattel, and I know it was in development
00:11for many, many years, and there were different iterations, and there was a thinking that
00:14maybe it would go this way or go that way, but how did having that movie in the marketplace
00:18help Mattel, and how did it introduce Barbie to a new generation of young girls?
00:24Well, the movie was incredibly exciting and impressive on so many levels, but I would
00:29say, yes, one of the really exciting learnings and now opportunity to go forward is that
00:37we did broaden the audience for the brand, and certainly continued to engage with fans and
00:45parents and young girls that love Barbie, but we reached a group of women and men that had
00:52not been as familiar with what Barbie was up to recently. We definitely broaden the aperture,
00:57and we now have a really exciting fan base that we're marketing other products to, lifestyle
01:03products, gaming, even more content. So that's been exciting, and then of course we're using
01:08the learnings from Barbie as the blueprint for our next big theatrical release, which is
01:13Masters of the Universe next June. So very excited about that.
