00:00The statue of Nehru, India's first prime minister and a central figure in the country's independence movement,
00:11was surrounded by flowers, tea lights and photographs of those killed in Thursday's crash.
00:19Authorities in India have begun handing over the remains of victims after identifying some through DNA testing.
00:28Following what is being described as one of the country's worst air disasters,
00:35the Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed into a residential area in Ahmedabad almost immediately after take-off on Thursday while en route to London's Gatwick Airport.
00:48Most of the victims were severely burned, which has been making identification difficult.
00:55Officials say 270 bodies have now been recovered and only one passenger, a 40-year-old British man, survived.
01:06Akil Narnabawa and Hannah Voraji, as well as their four-year-old daughter Sarah, were among the victims.
01:14The family of three were widely loved and deeply respected,
01:19their family said in a statement issued through their imam.
01:26It's just an absolute tragic loss because as family members we have lots of different people from lots of different generations
01:32and Akil and Hannah and Sarah actually were really amenable to everybody from all different ages.
01:40Akil especially was an amazing glue within the family who brought together young people.
01:46We'd often have fun at games nights and even when the older ones of us weren't there,
01:51he'd make a lot of efforts to engage with the young people in the family.
01:54They were actually away as part of their trip to Singapore and Malaysia before they went to India
02:00and we had two family events and we all really missed them there.
02:05We kind of feel the lack of their presence.
02:09So this whole news is absolutely shocking and devastating for us
02:12and it will leave a hole within our family.
02:16But we are together and with each other where we can kind of console each other.
02:20And, you know, they were so young in terms of their age and they were lifted together.
02:25They're going to be sorely, sorely, sorely missed.
