00:10First up in Preston, the Windrush Festival returns to Avonham Park on Sunday, June 22nd.
00:17With a jammed packed schedule from 12pm to 8pm, Windrush 77 promises to be bigger and
00:24better than ever, bringing all the colour, good vibes and soulful music of the Caribbean
00:29celebrating the city's African-Caribbean and mixed-race community.
00:34Throughout the day, visitors will enjoy live music and DJ sets, dancing, a live cricket match,
00:40a selection of non-food stalls, children's play area, a wide selection of international cuisines
00:45including Taste of the Caribbean. The event is free for all to attend.
00:51In Chorley, local comedian Don Good, Steve Royal, takes the Chorley Theatre stage with Scouse comedian
00:58Jamie Sutherland on Sunday, June 22nd.
01:02After a sell-out show in 2024, Steve and Jamie are back for 2025 with another night of comedy,
01:09games and messing around, based on their hit podcast, Finding Funnies.
01:14The show will feature comedy, favourite features from the podcast and a stand-up set from special
01:19guest Justin Morehouse. The 90-minute show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £15.
01:26And on the Fouled Coast, the iconic comedian Jimmy Carr performs at the Winter Gardens Opera House
01:33on Thursday, June 19th. In this brand new show, Jimmy Carr laughs funny, the TV and stand-up star
01:40promises 90 minutes of solid jokes, no interval. Expect fast-paced, edgy one-liners and Jimmy's
01:47renowned dark brand of comedy. There'll be two shows a night, starting at 7pm and 9.30pm,
01:54with tickets for each costing £40.25.
01:58Another star at the top of their field is also performing in Blackpool next week.

02:27Finally, in Fortin' Cleveley's, a night at the musicals, everybody's talking about musicals,
02:33is on at the Creative Little Theatre. Running between Wednesday, June 18th and Saturday, June 21st,
02:39this dynamic production showcases the incredible talent of young performers,
02:43for a dazzling review of musical theatre favourites. Presented by the Fortin' Cleveley Youth Theatre,
02:50there is a show nightly, plus a matinee on Saturday. Tickets cost £14 for adults, or £13 for children.
