00:09First up in Preston, there's a trio of dark plays on at the Preston Guild Theatre next

00:16First is a gripping one-man tale called The Thirty-Nine Steps on Monday March 24th.

00:22Sherlock Strikes Back, an adaption of the Conan Doyle classic, is then on Tuesday March

00:2725th.

00:29The series ends on Wednesday March 26th with Truly Jack the Ripper, another one-man show

00:34exploring the murders and myths of the iconic figure.

00:38Tickets for each play are £17, or you can see all three plays for £39.

00:45In Chorley, the comedian Zoe Lyons is performing at Chorley Theatre on Friday March 28th.

00:52The Star of Lightning, Have I Got News for You, QI, Mock of the Week, Celebrity S.A.S.

00:56Who Dares Wins, and World's Most Dangerous Roads, has a new show called Wear World, which

01:02is all about her journey through life.

01:05The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are still available, costing £17.

01:10Over on the Fylde Coast, Blackpool Restaurant Week kicks off on Thursday March 27th and

01:18runs until Saturday April 5th.

01:20It's the seaside town's first ever restaurant week and more than 25 venues are taking part.

01:27Blackpool Restaurant Week is a celebration of the town's food and drink scene and it

01:31will feature exclusive discounts, two-for-one deals, tasting menus and cooking demonstrations.

01:39Also in Blackpool, the comedian Paddy McGuinness brings his latest show, Nearly There, to the

01:44Opera House on Saturday March 29th.

01:48This is the much-loved TV star's first stand-up show since 2016 and Paddy has said he's looking

01:53forward to getting back in front of a live audience along with running the gauntlet of

01:57cancel culture, clickbait and fake news.

02:01Unfortunately for those interested, it has now sold out, but for those lucky enough to

02:06have tickets, the show starts at 7.45pm.

02:10Finally, in Lithuania, Ali Jones is performing at the Loutha Pavilion on Tuesday March 25th.

02:17Expect to hear the Welsh star as you've never heard him before, as Al that looks back on

02:22his four-decade-long career with a one-man show that will feature never-before-heard

02:28music, tales from the decades and for the first time, his story told in his own words.

02:34The event runs between 7.30pm and 10pm and tickets are still available, costing £31.
