00:11First up in Preston, the station on Butler Street is hosting a Brush and Tipple event

00:17on Wednesday, January 22nd. Whether you're an experienced painter or a complete beginner,

00:23you're invited to join in for a relaxing evening of acrylic painting, where attendees paint

00:28a nostalgic winter wonderland together with a paintbrush in one hand and a tipple in the

00:33other. Tickets cost £28.50.

00:38In Trolley, the comedian Nina Gilligan brings her latest show, Goldfish, to the Trolley

00:43Theatre on Thursday, January 23rd. Winner of the Comics Comic Award in 2024, Nina promises

00:51a hilarious show full of memory loss, health anxiety, goldfish-related trauma, i.e. things

00:58you need to remember and the things you can't forget. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets

01:04are £12 or £10 for concessions.

01:07Over on the Fylde Coast, the real Manhunter comes to the Winter Gardens Opera House for

01:13the makings of A Murderer 2 on Thursday, January 23rd. In this all-new show, senior investigating

01:20officer Colin Sutton, who the ITV drama series Manhunter is based on, will talk you through

01:26his remarkable career and what it's like to chase and catch a serial killer in a unique

01:31and one-off night at the theatre. The show starts at 7.30pm and prices range from £30.35 to £39.15.

01:43Also at the Winter Gardens next week is the Rock the Gardens Festival. It takes place in

01:48the Emperor's Ballroom between Friday, January 24th and Saturday, January 25th.

01:54Back for a third year with a stacked line-up across both days, the event starts at 5pm on

02:00the Friday and 1pm on the Saturday. Tickets cost £18.25 for Friday, £23.75 for the Saturday

02:09and £34.75 for a two-day ticket.

02:14In Liven, Sweeney TARDIS on at the Loughford Pavilion between Thursday, January 23rd and

02:20Saturday, January 25th. Presented by AKS Liven, this is one of the darkest musicals ever written.

02:28Sweeney TARDIS follows a barber who swears vengeance on the entire human race,

02:33murdering as many people as he can, whilst his business associate, Mrs Lovett,

02:38bakes the bodies into meat pies and sells them to the unsuspecting public.

02:43Tickets cost £20 for adults and £15 for children and seniors.
