Diddy's ex once suggested the possibility of a freak-off to get Diddy to ditch his date ... this according to her testimony.

00:00Diddy and Diddy's ex, Jane, the pseudonym under which she is testifying, is still on the stand.

00:07This is now her third day, I believe, on the stand.

00:10Yeah.

00:11She's under cross-examination, and I've got to say that Diddy's, at this point, Diddy's defense team,

00:17doing a pretty good job of making it seem, of painting a different picture,

00:21that she was not forced into these freak-offs or hotel nights, as she has been calling them.

00:27And in fact, today, under cross-examination, she admitted that at times she would use the freak-offs

00:37as a way to get Diddy back in to spend time with her, because she was jealous seeing him dating other people.

00:44Diddy's attorneys have been very effective on cross in setting up Jane's testimony about the freak-offs

00:50as a bit of a two-way street, that she did have some autonomy.

00:53She testified about using them as leverage in this way.

00:56He was sort of on a trip with young Miami, and she was jealous.

01:00She wanted more of his attention and affection, and she would dangle a freak-off with her

01:05as a means of luring him back to her early and leaving his trip with young Miami.

01:10And this is now establishing that if there was coercion, maybe it was a bit of a two-way street.

01:15I'm not sure it's quite a true equivalency, if he's coercing her in sort of more violent ways

01:21or more pressure and threatening about sex tapes, but it does show that she had a degree of autonomy in this relationship.

01:27And she apparently had a freedom of choice, at least in terms of who to freak-off with.

01:31Right, but amongst the bigger choice, she didn't have a choice not to do the freak-off in general.

01:37He was just kind of like, oh, well, you know, you can pick the guy,

01:39because she has testified that she was not attracted to this Italian guy.

01:44And in the certain instance that she's testifying to today, he was like,

01:48do you want the Italian guy or do you want Paul?

01:51And Jane was like, well, I'd rather be with Paul because she said that he had a warm energy about him.

01:56So if she's going to have to do this stuff that she doesn't really want to do,

01:59she just wants to be with Diddy, then at least she's going to pick someone that, you know,

02:03she feels comfortable around.

02:05It is going to be interesting, and I think on redirect, the prosecutors have to make that,

02:10really highlight that point, what Janet was just saying there, that she didn't feel she had a choice.

02:15And that gets you closer to coercion, and you've got to sort of make the jury not remember this thing

02:22about her offering the hotel, offering hotel nights to get him.

02:26You know, Charles, one of the issues that's coming up for the prosecutors here,

02:31you know, if I'm on the jury, all right, coercion is one thing.

02:36You're sort of manipulating things.

02:38There's no, so far the prosecutors haven't put on a witness that said, you know what,

02:45Diddy forced me into...

02:48Oh, I disagree, Jamie.

02:49I strongly disagree.

02:50Like, physically, physically forced.

02:53Oh, okay, but it doesn't have to be physically forced.

02:55You know, there's a big distinction between forcible, you know, physical, and, like,

03:01all right, manipulating someone into it.

03:03Saying to Cassie, if you don't do this freak-off, I'm going to send this video

03:08of you having sex with multiple people to your mother.

03:12And not to mention physical force.

03:13How does the jury forget the video of Diddy, of literally pulling Cassie around?

03:19Right, and then there's that.

03:21I mean, that's in everybody's mind.

03:22Cassie was there, you could say that, and we'll see what the jury says, but there was

03:27coercion there.

03:28It's getting a little murky with Jane, but we will see how the prosecutors can redirect that.

03:39testimony, it just sounds like a very sad and mentally exhausting situation.

03:44She's telling us that she would have to give her body away to multiple people just to have

03:51the privilege to give her body away to Diddy.

03:54That has to be mentally exhausting, and also in the fact that she would have to do these

03:58freak-offs for a calm moment.

04:01Like, she's doing these things for the bare minimum, like, a calm moment with the man that

04:07you love.

04:08We'll see how this applies to the charges against him, and if the jury feels it does.
