Diddy's ex-assistant says his boss was like a hungry bear during the "freak-offs" ... 'cause he says he needed to have a special snack at the ready meant to increase libido -- a whole lot of honey.

00:00We know that Kanye didn't get to see much of the trial. He was only there briefly, but there is

00:05testimony going on. And today, one of Diddy's former assistants is on the stand and talking a

00:13lot about duties he had to do that certainly may be not surprising at this point. But you've got

00:20to feel for these people and what they went through, cleaning up the hotel rooms after the

00:26freak-offs. Well, you think about all that baby oil and all that AstroGlide. It's got to go somewhere.

00:33There was a special agent on the stand who talked about the raids and all the stuff they found. We

00:39know, of course, about the hundreds of bottles of baby oil, but also talked about weapons, drugs,

00:47ammunition that was found, armor-piercing ammunition, which I always thought, I remember reading that in

00:53the indictment going, like, why? Why do you have armor-piercing anyway? That was a special agent,

00:59but the assistant, who is, I believe, still on the stand, this guy, Jonathan Perez, boy, he needs,

01:07talk about hazard pay. This is someone who should have hazard pay.

01:10Yeah, the former assistant, Jonathan Perez, he was Diddy's most recent assistant up until his arrest,

01:16and he testified to the fact that at some point, Diddy's videographer found a video on a staff iPad

01:25that was usually just accessed by members of his team of Diddy in the background of a video of Jane

01:32having intercourse with one of these male escorts. And so Perez brought that to the attention of Diddy

01:40and Christina Karam, who is the former chief of staff, and Diddy was super surprised to see this

01:46video, obviously. And six months later, we saw a recording that was seized from Christina's phone,

01:53and the jury heard this recorded phone call of Christina basically grilling Jonathan about,

01:59you know, who else saw this video, and what is this about? We want to make sure that this is all

02:04controlled. Jonathan also mentioned someone accessing the iCloud at that time that they saw,

02:10the video from somewhere else in Florida. So it was super interesting, the timing of all of that.

02:16And what's the deal with honey? Yeah, there was something about honey he testified about,

02:20which I've never heard of this. A new ingredient just launched in these freak-offs,

02:25and that is honey. According to Jonathan, he would bring not only food and liquor to the hotel rooms to

02:31set up, he would also bring honey, which he testified and confirmed that it's a male libido enhancement.

02:38Oh, I didn't know that. Did not know. Learning so many things during this trial.

02:44That just made my daily yogurt a little more interesting.

02:47A lot of this testimony just seems like color. There's a little bit of freak-shaming going on by

02:51giving all these details about, you know, honey that was brought to these. But the key part of

02:56the testimony to me is that he says he had to clean up the hotel rooms very assiduously and get

03:01everything. Nothing could be left behind. And I think that goes more towards the embarrassment it might

03:06cause, maybe his frame of mind, maybe some of the things that were left behind being incriminating

03:10in any type of way. Or just that he didn't want his-

03:13The cleanup was a huge deal.

03:13Or just that he clearly didn't want his lifestyle to be known to the public. And really, you know,

03:20we wouldn't have known, certainly not in this detail, were he not arrested and standing trial

03:25here. In fact, Derek, what was the thing about Jonathan Perez cleaning up at one point,

03:32and he was on the phone with someone who said that he had slipped and fell a couple of times?

03:38He didn't, did he say it was because of baby oil or Astro Glide?

03:44So he said that he got a text from Christina while he was cleaning up and she was asking how

03:50it was going. And he said, quote, slipped and fell twice. And had testified a few minutes earlier that

03:56then the cleanup entailed a lot of towels and sheets and baby oil.

04:00Yeah. And lots of, lots of fluids at that hazard pay party. Hazard pay. I wish they should have

04:06had him testify to that. What were you getting paid, Mr. Perez?

04:09Hi, Gloria, New Jersey. Boy, every day there's something new with this Diddy trial. And I see why

04:17they call it the freak off, because this is some of the most freaky stuff that I've ever heard of.

04:22And I'm just hoping for the victim's healing and even the cleanup crew. I hope that they're not

04:28too traumatized after all of this. I can't imagine having to go in after someone and make this

04:35cleanup. This is outrageous. It's very wild stuff. Just very, very freaky. Never heard of something.

04:42I think your reaction is the reaction that a lot of jurors are going to have.

04:46Now, whether that means that he's guilty, not necessarily, just means he's leading a life

04:53that most people would never, ever know anything about. That was a great call. Thank you.
