Diddy Trial Highlights From 20th Day of Witness Testimony

Diddy's ex-girlfriend was back on the stand Tuesday in the 20th day of witness testimony in the music mogul's federal criminal trial ... and she got testy with Diddy's defense team.

00:19courtroom people reacted like uh-oh sort of like oh no she didn't and Tenney says keeps her cool

00:26and says how much does it cost and Jane says how Dutch how much does my body cost

00:32everybody Charles here and uh this is now day 20 of Diddy's federal trial and um this was an

00:44interesting day with Jane on the stand and it was different a lot different from her other days on

00:52the stand we're going to get into why um but here's what you probably did not have on your

00:57bingo cards uh in this trial a mention of Kobe Bryant Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Jordan what in the

01:06world they have to do with this case we're going to tell you so uh Jane is on the stand again today

01:13but what was different this was about cross-exam right she's uh now Diddy's attorneys get their

01:19chance to um question her and maybe um put holes in her credibility and paint a different picture

01:28of what her relationship with Diddy was a different picture from what the prosecutors had um had for

01:36the last couple of days shown which was that this was a violent uh sometimes brutal uh relationship

01:43and one that it seems Jane did not want to be in and that she was being forced into so will they be

01:50able to paint a different picture here's uh what went down so right from the start Jane says she was

01:57hooked hooked uh in on this relationship from the very beginning but she said she didn't grasp quote

02:04the terms and conditions of what our relationship would be like um immediately I'm sure in jurors minds

02:12they start thinking about the fine print and anything that you log into now anything you sign up to

02:18sign up for and you have to click the thing terms and conditions well she says she didn't understand

02:24what the terms and conditions were on the relationship but she admits she was definitely

02:28hooked on Diddy and by the way it sounds like he was hooked on her I don't know a lot of relationships

02:36where your pet name for someone is uh crack pipe but she says that's what Diddy would call her

02:42because he was addicted to her um I think he she meant sexually but just the relationship in general

02:50so she says that he called her crack pipe uh and then she got into what she she really did talk a lot

02:57about the loving part of the relationship she said that yes they had these hotel nights but she would go

03:03through them because it was the only way to get to the part of the relationship that she really did

03:09enjoy and that was afterward when they did some things that really sound like a very normal um loving

03:18relationship she talked about uh after a hotel night she would give him a foot massage she would feed

03:25him bathe him put on his favorite show would you have guessed that dateline is Diddy's favorite show

03:33um there's probably a joke or two in there but yes uh she said that he loved dateline and they would

03:40fall asleep watching it and she referred to him quote as her baby uh and interesting here that during

03:48this testimony when she's talking about all these warm loving moments in their relationship Diddy was uh

03:55was smiling and nodding point I think uh we should point out not at any of the jury because we know that

04:02the judge admonished him about that the other day but he was in court listening to what she had to say

04:07and smiling and nodding so clearly he's having warm memories of their relationship which by the way

04:14they were still together this time last year uh they were still together so they talk she talks about

04:21that the um then they played in court some audio messages that they had left for each other showed

04:27some text messages and it certainly seemed like a like I said regular loving relationship but she

04:33wanted to clarify and she she said that the love that she that you're seeing in these text messages

04:40the love that you're hearing in these audio messages she said to be clear my love was for him

04:46for sean not for the other entertainers that they were spending time with so I think she wants to

04:54make the distinction that as far as the um the the sexual encounters with all these other people

05:01she was not down for that but we're going to come back to that because this is critical

05:05to one of the charges against him so how do we get to uh the nba all-stars um this is interesting

05:15because she's saying that she's not uh not fond of the time with the entertainers yet at least one of

05:21the entertainers she clearly has or had a fond experience with because she said they had

05:29they were like the dream team she said that she was kobe this was how they would refer to each other

05:35she was kobe paul one of the entertainers was shack and of course diddy gets to be jordan because

05:41you know he's the goat so of course she gives gives uh diddy the jordan title it's just interesting

05:49so again she is talking about these relationships and wants to make it clear she does not love

05:55the the hotel nights the freak-offs that's not what she's here for she's here for a loving relationship

06:01with diddy and she said that she didn't want him to feel um judged about this she said it was clear

06:09that this was something that was important to him that uh that he really enjoyed and she didn't want

06:15him to feel judged about those things and that's the real reason that she continued to do the hotel

06:20nights and have these sexual encounters with all these different men because she wanted him to feel

06:26loved uh so why is this important they are alluding they're alleging that she that he was sex trafficking

06:36her right just as they said about cassie um but if she was being if she did not want to be in this

06:43for diddy to be forcing her into it he has to know that she doesn't like this that she doesn't want it

06:51and if she is making up you know uh nicknames for some of them calling paul uh shack um and if she is

07:01at times as she testified yesterday saying she misses paul and one of the other entertainers as well

07:07and saying that to diddy diddy diddy the defense has got to say how is diddy to know that he's

07:15forcing you into this as far as you are showing him as far as what you're saying to him he thinks

07:21that you're into it you told him you missed paul um of course he called paul to come over so where

07:28is the force where is the coercion and without the force or coercion it's hard to say that he is sex

07:36trafficking jane um now we should say there was one time at least one time that she testified about

07:43today where she says that she would tell diddy that she wanted to stop she said it was rare that

07:51diddy would end a hotel night when she said she wanted to stop uh that he always wanted her to try

07:57to have sex with whoever they were with that night before stopping so there is a moment where she is

08:05saying that she's making it clear to him that she didn't want to do it but maybe he thinks that's

08:10just that particular night um again you have all these other instances where she is saying positive

08:16things about the experience and that's going to be critical as to whether or not the sex trafficking

08:22charge sticks at least as it pertains to jane um now there was one of the moment we got to talk

08:28about before we wrap this up and in some people who are in court our producers said that this felt

08:34like a bombshell moment because jane had a little attitude and she um she gave it back to diddy's

08:42attorney during questioning this was um tenny garagos uh is one of the co-lead counsels is talking to her

08:51about the fact that she was that jane was jealous uh of other women that diddy was dating and by the

08:59way she says from the get-go diddy was very open with her that he is polyamorous he's going to be

09:04dating other people she signed on for that she did say that it bothered her in particular when he was

09:10dating young miami very publicly she said that's not what i signed on for you know i thought this was

09:17all going to be maybe she thought it was not going to be so public and therefore she wouldn't feel

09:22like she's the other woman because she has talked frequently about the fact that he would have this

09:28public relationship but she never got that she wasn't the public relationship and so she felt like

09:33she was just there for the purpose of sexual encounters um but the bombshell moment tenny garagos

09:40is talking to her about the fact that um jane and diddy got into an argument about another girl

09:47that he was dating getting a chanel bag and that jane was supposed to go visit diddy in miami but

09:54then they get into this whole argument about the chanel bag he bought for another another woman so

09:59tenny says you didn't get a chanel bag and jane says i only got trauma tenny says what is a bottega bag

10:07and jane says i'm sure you have one and there was an actual verbal gasp in the in the courtroom people

10:17reacted like uh-oh sort of like oh no she didn't and tenny says keeps her cool and says how much does

10:25it cost and jane says how dutch how much does my body cost um and people in the courtroom were looking

10:33around like what is uh what is happening here uh they said that up to this point jane was very calm

10:40uh through much of her testimony but here she was clearly annoyed with this line of questioning

10:44maybe she's remembering that argument with diddy and it just put her in a bad mood but

10:49instead of just answering the question she's coming back with attitude at tenny garagos uh the judge

10:55actually had to step in and remind jane that she needs to answer these questions uh she needs to

11:01answer them seriously and at that point jane asked for a break so that was a little uh high drama

11:08there kind of a soap opera moment during the trial um as for day 20 who's the winner who are the losers

11:16i think today not shockingly the winner is the is the defense diddy's defense wins today now

11:24they had the witness uh jane all day it was their witness and they had all these questions

11:29i just think they did a really good job of making it clear that jane most of the time

11:36was at least to diddy as far as diddy would know was into this was into the the their relationship

11:43was into uh the relationship with some of the other entertainers and was very much uh on board

11:51with having this sort of relationship this polyamorous relationship with diddy yes there were times that

11:57she got into arguments with him about it but again she's on board for you know multiple years with

12:04him so how is he to know that he is forcing her or coercing her in this that's a big win uh for the

12:11defense at least for today tomorrow jane is back on the stand more cross-examination to come and then

12:18there will be redirect from the prosecutors we'll see which way it goes tomorrow
